The rooms are getting old. We were in a family loft. The upper bedroom was very hot and the window partly locked. Too expensive for what it has to offer.

The location is very nice, especially in the main building where you can eat.

The property is dated and needs a lot of upgrades. the toilet surface near the floor had not been cleaned and the carpets were stained. The neighbours were loud and the rooms aren't sound proof but that's not the resort's fault. The hotel is approaching a 4 star.

Beautiful location on the ocean, the grounds are on their way to being restored and maintained. The restaurant has gorgeous views of the water and decent food. The salad with chicken was surprisingly delicious. Great drinks and price points. The pool has been renovated and is perfect! A washroom nearby would be a great addition. The fitness centre and laundry were perks. The bedding and towels were luxurious.

History and location of lodge. Ocean side rustic resort. The best I ever stayed at. Whale watching Cruise ship watching Fishing trips. Really friendly and helpful staff.

We changed rooms because there was a loud electrical hum no one could locate but we were upgraded and it was done without any fuss -staff were very friendly and helpful

The jetty with chairs looking out over the water was delightful and having access to tennis courts was fun.

Loved that it was away from town, quiet at night and gorgeous waterfront. Very clean and well stocked with amenities. Pub/ restaurant on site was really convenient and the patio was a perfect way to end the evening. Friendly staff.

Previous owners didn't keep the property up. But new owners are doing a great job bring this awesome resort up to 5 star standards.

Restaurant and pub won't be in operation until mid-July 2025. For breakfast we enjoyed coffee, muffins and yogurt while sitting on the sun deck overlooking Discovery Passage.

Housekeeping and to some extent breakfast were a little lacking.

The breakfast was in a great central location. A continental breakfast was provided, but nothing hot. One problem was the coffee; one machine for several people.

-The way the hotel is advertised with the photo, I expected our room (all rooms) to be located facing the water. We also expected there would be beach access due to the photos and there was not. Instead, there were other buildings on the property set behind the beautiful photo of the main hotel. (*All the hotels we stayed at during our trip on the island showed one thing on Booking.com and then fell short upon arrival. Disappointing but noted as something to be aware of upon future bookings). -The restaurant had good food. However, due to new management and on going renovations, there was construction happening during dinner. The outdoor patio/railing was being worked on, therefore, saws, drilling, cutting were happening while we eating and in the dining space. It would have been nice if this area was blocked off so guests were not in the middle of it. -Ice machine is located at the restaurant. If staying in a different building on site, you have to walk to the kitchen. -It would be nice if rooms had a small microwave for convenience. All in all, we wish the hotel and staff great success and smooth renovations/updates as they grow. The location and potential are there! Our stay at this hotel and other hotels during our week on the island, I learned a lot about our family's needs while traveling. Thank you!

-Easy check in and check out. -The location on the water was beautiful. -There was an outdoor pool. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use it. -Our kids enjoyed the loft in our room. A separate area for them to sleep was essential and nice.
