No one cleans the room regularly

I have a problem with mobility and I found a lack of hand grips in the bathroom ..a problem.

My dog was very fearful of the open grate, metal stairs. Carrying a 70lb baby up and down 2 flights was not fun. The restaurant was closed due to a bbq event they were having, so we weren't able to have dinner here. My spouse is allergic to garlic, and we couldn't take the chance of him getting sick if we joined in on the ribfest. I would have felt safer in the room if there was more than just the deadbolt on the door. The thought intruded my drowsy head but didn't affect my sleep.

Super quaint. Super clean. The staff were very helpful at check-in. Our 14 year old doggo was welcome. The shower has good pressure and heats up quickly. It was easy to find, literally just off Hwy 1. They have signage stating that quiet times are from 10 pm to 730 am, and the guests absolutely adhere to that. It was a peaceful evening, and we slept well. In-room coffee was very appreciated this morning!

There’s nothing not to like.

I love Peaks Lodge. My dog and I have stayed here several times while on the road between Alberta and the West Coast. If I can help it, I don’t book anywhere else. It’s nice to be at a property that truly is comfortable with pets on the premises.

The hotel is situated very close to the highway. The noise from the traffic is annoying. However, the gorgeous views make up for that.

The owners, management and staff are super friendly, easy-going, and knowledgeable. Rooms are very clean. They offer a mini to go continental breakfast. This was so nice. It contained a lunch bag with banana, apple , yogurt, muffin, hard boiled egg, granola, bar, and juice. We didn’t have to rush out for breakfast. This definitely contained us till lunchtime. The outdoor lounge area and fire pit are very inviting. We enjoyed sitting in the comfy chairs outside of our room, enjoying the beautiful view..

Incredibly family owned business- the staff (family) were so lovely and welcoming. Super yum BBQ too- complimentary breakfast to go.

Only negative feedback I can give is that the stairs are a little hard for pet paws! I realize those are necessary for the winter time, but perhaps a carpet can be put on them for the summer time?

Really loved this charming little lodge. Staff were friendly upon arrival and informative. Breakfast was provided and the added addition of hot tubs was a nice touch and great way to relax after a day of hiking or being outdoors. The room was small, but clean and well stocked with a mini fridge and coffee machine. Surprisingly nice bathroom as well.

Cold breakfast. Washroom was tiny. and the wifi was not working during our stay but hopefully it is just a temporary issue..

Very good location with friendly staff. The place is a little old but room was clean and well maintained. They respect the no noise after 10pm rule so we got a really good sleep.

The room was quite small, the traffic noise was pretty constant and my daughter had issues with something in the room causing her issues with breathing/coughing?!

The staff, the views and the bed was comfy!!!

It’s a bit dated .

It is near to the highway- easier to access when going west than going east. Owners are friendly and made us feel so welcome . The bagged breakfast to go was a bonus along with BC cherries. It has a restaurant downstairs and the beef brisket is to die for - well at least worth driving for!

The Family running the Hotel were very welcoming and kind . The BBQ restaurent downstairs serves awesome barbacue ,if you are staying you must try it !

Staff was very friendly. I left my ring in the room after checking out. They mailed back to me right away. I appreciated it very much. Room is good size, bed is comfortable.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There was a nice outdoor space for kids and dogs. The room was as expected. We loved that pets were welcomed. The restaurant wasn't open the day we were there, but we would have loved to try it.

It's a fair climb to the the third floor - it was ok for us, but I failed to note this when booking. There was a coffee maker in the room but no kettle to make tea. However, h they did offer a complimentary grab and go breakfast which was appreciated.

Comfortable room with a king size bed and good pressure shower. I liked that we had a wool blanket on the bed rather than a duvet which is way too hot for summer.

Probably a bit further out from town than what we expected but that’s on us, not Peaks.

Comfortable with all the basics. Really friendly people - enjoyed some convos with Pat. Loved the world map where guests from all over the world had marked where they come from.
