Staff very welcoming and helpful. Facility and room were clean. The location was perfect I’d stay here again.

I travelled with my two adult grandchildren - we have many lovely memories of 5he Post when they were involved with the Lake Louise Ski Club. Stayed most winter weekends for years.

Everything is as wonderful as remembered.

We have been travelling across Canada and staying in lots of hotels. This is probably the best. The hotel is beautiful and offers a choice of fine dining and more everyday food in the "pub". The staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble, and there were lots of little touches that added up to a wonderful guest experience.

A fridge in the room would have been nice

If you want to go to Lake Louise and avoid the crowds, this hotel is a winner. Comfortable hotel if your room is on the river side of the building, but on the opposite side of the building (south side) you look at the parking lot. The hotel offers free transportation up to Lake Louise so you don't have to drive up to the parking lot prior to 6 AM (yes parking lot is full at 6 AM) and pay $36 to park and hike. The food in the main dining room and service was fantastic.

If you are in a room that overlooks the parking lot you'll also hear the trains blowing horns all night long. The pub food was OK but not the same quality as the main dining room. Not the hotel's fault, but Lake Louise is too crowded in the summertime. There must have been 3,000 people outside the hotel taking pictures of the lake making it difficult to get to the hiking trails going to the tea houses. If we go back we'll probably go to Morraine Lake instead as the crowds ruin the experience of nature. On the trail we hearing people everywhere say, "Did you post you picture online yet?" Not what nature intended.

The location is excellent . A short walk to the village and shuttle bus to Lake Louise .

Very central location to Lake Louise shops, Lakes and Gondola. Great service. Lake Morraine and Lake Louise Shuttle from the hotel is very convenient. Breakfast options are buffet or A la Carte. A little expensive i think, very good food. Nice indoor pool and steam room plus hot tub. Would be lovely it it was outdoors! Love the rooms with a balcony where you can open the doors and have lovely fresh air. It is near the railway line but the trains are more like a quiet hum at night and we did not find this a problem at all.

Great facilities, great location & helpfully staff

Wait at the pub

Lovely L’Ocitanne products. Nice tea and coffee available for free in the mornings. Spa was quiet in the evening, hot tub pool was enjoyable after a long day walking. Good proximity to shuttle buses to the lakes. Trailhead Cafe close by - would highly recommend! Absolutely brilliant earplugs available in the room, which unfortunately we did need to use, but they worked well!

Bed was comfortable, although a little small. Very hot in the room (no AC?). It is very dated, which may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Shower in bath, water didn’t drain well. Lots of noise in the evening, young children running down the corridors shouting - very thin walls. It is very expensive to stay here so it fell short of our expectations.

Beautiful location right beside the river, truly picture perfect. Room was very comfortable and we really liked the little touches like bottles of water, home made granola bars etc.

The room was expensive so I would have expected breakfast to be included.

This hotel offers great hospitality. The service is pleasant. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned. The front desk is wonderfully pleasant, and the shuttle staff are quick and always smiling. They offer morning coffee and tea at 3:00, and are always there to meet your needs. They always do everything you ask of them, so you can trust them. The food is also delicious.

Loved the close proximity to lake Louise and the complimentary shuttle (shuttle driver was accommodating, polite and gave us great advice about local area, dining options etc).. Old style but very clean and comfortable hotel. Easy parking and good wi-fi connection. Complimentary afternoon tea was very handy and a nice touch. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to Max, who was very kind to provide helpfull tips for exploring the area and a bear spray

Noise from the train, definitely best to stay on the river-side of the hotel (they call it the preferred side as opposed to railroad side) I did request a quiet room in the original booking but this was not acknowledged at the time of booking or at the check in There was no fridge in the room but that did not bother us much The drain in the bathtub/shower did not drain well

The staff was exceptional, and the free shuttle to Lake Louise was great. We had a really great experience at your hotel.

Old school property takes you back in time. Excellent facility’s. Staff are amazing. Pool and hot tub excellent after a day of adventuring. Rooms are old school and beautiful. Walking down the halls and the front entrance are amazing.

The front desk staff went above and beyond to accommodate any and all requests; went above and beyond and were very friendly!

Further from Lake Louise than I thought and definitely very far from Calgary airport
