Comfortable and quiet

The house is close to bus / skytrain but it does take quite some time to get to the city center. Not a problem, but do not expect to sleep in central Vancouver.

Very friendly hosts. We also appreciated the free coffee - perfect if you wake up a little jet lagged. The bed was very comfortable and the flat / room very clean.

I came from Japan, and the owner was very kind. On rainy days, they even offered to lend me an umbrella. One time, my phone ran out of battery and I couldn’t remember the entrance password. Even though it was late at night, the owner came right away when I rang the intercom and reassured me with a kind “It’s okay.” I stayed for 9 nights, and the room was very clean with plenty of storage. It also had a spotless bathroom with a hair dryer, shampoo, and body soap provided. In the living room, they kindly provided fresh water, and there was also a microwave and refrigerator. The location is about 800 meters from the station, so it’s walkable. There is also a bus stop right in front of the house, which is very convenient when the timing matches. The neighborhood is quiet and safe to walk around. I would definitely love to stay here again.

It might be noisy at night due to the heavy traffic but we are used to it.

Great place for its price. The skytrain is only 800m away. Our room was super clean.

Super clean and neat room. Comfortable and really affordable. Loved the instructions and the fact that we needed to take of our shoes at the front door. Also its good walking distance to any facility and near public transport.

Sine this is a fairly new place to stay in there a few smaller issues that they most likely will fix during the coming months, they where very willing to listen to feedback.

The hosts a fantastic, Close to a station which makes it easy getting to downtown Vancouver on the skytrain. Great Room, god bathroom. There is the possibility to use a laundry and dryer which was awesome midway thru my 3 week trip. God value for your money and even thou you are outside central Vancouver since you have the skytrain its easy getting there and i honestly enjoyed getting to see another part of the city. There are free parking if you get here by car.

Laundry facilities, cleanliness. affordability, good parking, close to Metrotown, check in and check out were easy and e-mails form hosts were clear.

My upstairs private room with adjoined private bathroom was very clean and comfortable, and I rested well there (minus my jetlag, but that's not their fault ;)). The location makes it easy to reach Royal Oak station on foot, and I also walked to Metrotown several times for the restaurants etc. If you are (extremely) susceptible to noise or like an open window, you might want to bring earplugs, occasionally there are people who rev up on Rumble Street – it was zero issue here for me though, and neither was I disturbed by any noise from the other guest room. Eating takeout is confined to the dining area on the ground floor, which makes sense to me; there is a good espresso machine in that area as well. Most importantly: the hosts Tina and Owen are exceptionally nice people, just a very polite and nice family; they even offered me a safe spot for a bicycle I had borrowed from a colleague. I can absolutely recommend this, and I will definitely look to book here again whenever I return (solo) in the future. Thank you very much ^-^

It wasn't a dislike so much as a small issue regarding the fact that I could not control the room temperature so it was too warm for my preference. But, I simply opened the window to cool the room down. Also, the instructions are a bit confusing as it wasn't clear that the door code was for the front door to the house, not the room door (which has a key in the lock when you arrive). Maybe I was just over tired from the journey there :-).

I stayed for only one night and the room was great. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything I could need. There is no TV in the room which is fine for me but it may be a problem for others. The bedroom and the bathroom were very clean. I only met Owen and he was very friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a great stay.

Nice and adorable house!! We had an awesome time here. The room is spacious, tidy, and clean. The dining room is convenient (microwave, fridge, coffee, hot water…). Also, the laundry room! The neighborhood is quiet. 10-min walk to Royal Oak station Skytrain, so it will take 30 mins to the downtown. Tina and Owen are so nice.
