That the food wasn't til 3 , but was very good food and prices and service , there was only the pool table avalible first come first serve , that it was stated you needed a group 10 to use the rec room

Tricky to drive to. The Banff Trail is a small strip of road running parallel to Crowchild Trail. I could see the hotel but was on the wrong side of the light rail tracks. Took a bit to figure out access

I did not appreciate having to walk back out to the icy parking lot to insert a hotel parking permit on my dashboard. They could have recorded my license number and done their own verifications to suit themselves in their definitely not stressed parking area rather than me, the customer having to make extra/ somewhat hazardous exercises on their lazy behalf.

We were there when national speed skating teams were there from 3 different countries, which made find a location to sit for breakfast very challenging. The teams had dinner and lunch in another location of the hotel and I feel the same should have happened for breakfast for the benefit of other guests.

Staff were friendly. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was hot and provided a good assortment.

no pool availabley and were not informed before booking or we honestly would not have stayed here. the recreation things like pool table and such things being an extra charge was absurd with how much the room was espicially when there is no pool. should have been made open free of charge so the children had something to do in their down time.

breakfast was good. would have been nice to be informed the pool was closed before we booked and found out upon arrival. the kids were very let down about this and it was the main reason we booked here. staff was great, as well as, helpful. the breakfast was okay. being charged to use a pool table seemed ridiculous and the children were very bored during our stay.

Hallway is very complicated it seems like you are in a maze hard to remember where your rooms are or where the exit is. Microwave is just one for every floor and because of the complicated hallway it is hard to get into it. Also ice machine is only at 3rd flr.

Rooms are good, pool is ok, breakfast is good.

The below window AC unit has non adjustable outlet diffuser which discharges air directly to the topside of the bed making it a bit drafty when it comes on.

Location is great and the staff were cheerful and helpful too.

The room was quite small. If we had a lot of luggage, it would be cramped.

This is perfect for a quick stop if you have something in the university/NW area. It's clean, efficient, quiet, and adequate. It's in a row of hotels, so don't expect any green space to wander leisurely. Close to main arteries, surprisingly quick to get downtown. Breakfast was basic with a varied selection of hot and cold.
