Sadly we had to evacuate the building due to fire alarms sounding. This could’ve been managed safer and better. We were sat in reception and it took too long to ask guests to leave and clear instructions as to where the meeting point was were not given. It was raining heavily and no where near enough umbrellas were provided nor was any sort of collation of names taken (staff or guests). We’d recommend that due to potential poor weather, that alongside umbrellas, that disposable water proof ponchos be handed out (we were offered tablecloths to wrap up in) and whoever is in overall charge/fire Marshall, be given a megaphone to explain what’s going on and not have to shout across a car park in the rain that made it almost impossible to hear what was being said. Staff were left without umbrellas and were drenched. An apology at check out would’ve been nice especially as our clothing was soaked with no way of drying them, so they ended up being packed still damp.

A majestic property that oozes charm and beauty both inside and throughout the grounds. We were greeted by a reception team that were professional and friendly. Our room was wonderful, spotlessly clean and our bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast, opting for the buffet which was plentiful. The hotel kindly arranged for a wedding anniversary present for us which was a lovely gesture. We had a lovely stay at Queens Landing and due to its convenient location, we were able to enjoy the beautiful town of Niagara On The Lake.

When we dined in the evening celebrating our anniversary, service was very slow. ALSO, staff not very engaging. No one ever acknowledged our celebration even though I specifically put it down,

We loved the indoor swimming pool,along with the hot tub and sauna!Wonderful outdoor patio to sit outside the pool area. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Cocktails in the bar/bartender Chris was great; recommended wineries, etc.Sophia in the bar/lounge area was a fantastic server!

When i booked the stay online it was run through booking.com. the pictures i viewed i thought would be reflective of my stay. Our room was ordinary and faced the parkong lot. I was never told there were different levels of room choices. Wasn't til i checked out that i was informed the rooms with a view of the lake and the "remodeled look" were a higher level...... was told had i called the hotel directly, that that information would have been discussed. Should i return, i will make sure to finish off the charm of NOTL by asling for a nicer room and one with THE view.... i was also charged in US $ not Canadian, now i have to deal with the credit card company.

This hotel deserves an update. Very ordinary, very dated decor. Though we have noticed this appears to be regarded as normal in Canadian hotels. Bedrooms, and more particularly the bathrooms, are showing signs of wear and tear. No kettle or mugs provided. Essential for tourists from Europe and the Uk. No slippers provided. The carpets in the lobbies appeared worn and stained in places.

Perfectly located within walking distance of shops, restaurants and attractions in Niagara on the Lake. Imposing building with pretty gardens. Overlooks the lake at the rear of the hotel. Friendly and efficient staff. Spacious surroundings. Coffee maker in bedroom. Good breakfast buffet. Free parking on site.

The bed pillows were awful….perhaps you might consider offering options…..and the bed comforter was so heavy, we were too hot with it but too cool without, maybe you should try the bed out yourself.

Everything in the room was wonderful with the exception of the bed pillows…..very tasteful, loved the rose touch, assuming it was because we were celebrating our anniversary. Not crazy about our view, parking lot and some of the marina.

Carpet smelled musty. No exhaust fan in bathroom created foggy mirror. Never found the mini fridge which we were told on checking out that it was hidden as a piece furniture under the desk. Could it be labelled?

Friendly waitstaff accommodated my food sensitivities at breakfast. My request for a waterview room was honoured. Delighted by champagne and roses delivered to our room to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, to our surprise!

No breakfast was included, and very expensive food. On top of HST there was a tourist fee of ~$20 per day and service fee of ~$10 per day I presume for room cleaning. Our air conditioner had some mould in it which made me sneeze. The room per diem rate was high, so the extra fees seemed like gouging. For such an expensive establishment they should ensure that there is no mould at all.

Location perfect for theatre goers. The building is elegant heritage hotel with several beautiful but expensive restaurants. It is located in a beautiful location.

we were given an adjoining room - so we could hear the neighbors since there was not a wall only a door - and they were irritating. I emailed/texted the AI assistant but no one got back to me

Very little seating outside just to relax in . Only outside space was set aside for meals from the bar or restaurant

It was situated a short distance from the Main Street. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The pool and jacuzzi were good

The TV chrome cast wasn’t working for some reason. And it somehow said I bought a movie when I was no where near selecting anything. We called the front desk and they took it off, but said if it happened again they wouldn’t be able to take it off. I just stopped trying to make the chrome cast work after that (lol).

The place is absolutely beautiful. I love all the interior decor. Staff were so nice! We got a complimentary bottle of champagne and a letter because we were on our honeymoon. The bed was very comfortable and the room just felt very clean overall. The restaurant patio is also so pretty - great views.

Staff was wonderful, fireplace in room was romantic. Roses on the bed every evening was a wonderful touch! The pool and jacuzzi were great ways to end the days. We love this hotel and have been returning for several years to celebrate our anniversay in August.

The restaurant’s food was delicious and the wait staff were very attentive. The wine trolley was a must do. The shuttle to town was not necessary because you can walk it easy, but it was easy to use.

For the price we paid I would have expected the stay to feel more luxurious but I understand that the location and history of the properly commands a premium.

Very spacious room with 2 queen beds. It is an older properly but kept up well. It felt a little like traveling back in time to stay at a grand hotel - we were there for a wedding.
