We didn’t want housekeeping for the first few days but the last few days when we wanted housekeeping our room was not cleaned. When we phoned for at least towels the day we were told they would send them up but none came.

The security, room and hotel in general were are very good.

there should be a note on the bathroom door to notify people to close door all the way for privacy. The walls are glass and only become private if door is 100% closed.

It was sad to walk from the train station to the hotel and back - many unfortunate homeless people.

The king bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was roomy. Everything was very clean. We ordered breakfast to the room - arrived on time, and the price was reasonable. Room rate was also very reasonable.

We didn't love the toilet situation in our room. It is (I guess) avant garde and very beautifully & expensively upgraded, but the system has a glass wall between the bathroom and sleeping area. The idea seems to be that if you close the door completely, the glass frosts over and you (mostly) can't see your travel companions showering or going to the bathroom. It does create a massive lightbox in the room, which could be annoying if you have a travel buddy who needs to go the bathroom several times at night. It must have been very expensive to do but I think it took 'open concept' to a level that we weren't 100% comfortable with.

This is a beautifully renovated hotel with lovely use of wood panelling in the lobby. It would be a lovely place to have a conference. It is in a great location in Prince George with a microbrewery and a fantastic Indian restaurant (Karahi King) next door. The staff are lovely and there is a well appointed gym, pool and hot tub. The rooms are very carefully renovated.

Man at front desk was very helpful. We came in late and he helped us order Domino's pizza which delivered till 1 am. Also loved easy parking garage across the street.

The parking garage, it was hard to locate the elevator and it took my partner some time to locate and return to our room. We also ended up going back and completely unpacking the car as employee at front desk was not very clear as to whether our possessions would be safe if left in. I now think they would have been. No restaurant which was fine as there were quite a few alternatives in the area,and we had a great meal at the Keg. There was a Starbucks available. What I wasn’t impressed with was it would have been nice to have some printed literature in our room about what and where. I took a picture of the board in the hotel lobby. There was also no instructions on how to operate the t.v. Remote which was irritating as we actually had to get an employee to help us.

Would've liked to done a bit of work in the gym, but for some reason, there was no air-conditioning, and it was incredibly hot to the point where nobody would probably use that space. Make sure you ask to park in the Parkade across the street as even the police officer told me not to park anywhere downtown. It's great that the hotel offers the Parkade option.

Very comfortable, well appointed and spacious King suite. The bed was fantastic... probably one of the best sleeps I've ever had in a hotel. Friendly and professional staff. Thanks to Michael for fixing the TV after trying three different remote controls. 😊 Front desk staff were great!

We asked for a pet friendly room and it was on the 4 th floor. Main floor would have made it much easier to take him out for bathroom breaks.
