Flimsy inside spiral staircase, but there is also outdoor access to the upstairs bedroom from a sturdy wooden staircase

Location close to the lighthouse, and walking trails. Easy to get to

Needs some maintenance to keep on top of the wear and tear. On the expensive side of value for money.

Comfy, convenient, clean, good beds and appliances. Generally well equipped.

Beds were pretty hard. Hot tub would have been nice but only offered in the winter which is strange because it was still a cold weekend there. The bathroom upstairs leaked so we couldn’t use it.

Beautiful view, practical and suitable for our needs.

Actually, I put my difficulty with the stairs in the wrong category. It was a beautiful big jet tub but sadly, it wasn't working.

The spiral staircase was beautiful and impressed us upon arrival. Sadly, as a senior, the steps were a lot to manage. Very small step surface and almost impossible to carry things up.

No fan upstairs as it got pretty warm. Half of the outlets either can't hold a plug or don't work at all. And a little TLC period around the place as it shows.

    The price and location.

It was hard to leave this paradise

We loved that it have everything we needed for a couples get away. The porch in the rain was so nice. Checkin and out was super easy. Parking right in front was convenient. It was a good fit for us with our dog, a great place for dogs. The kitchen had everything we needed. The tub is deep and luxurious. Bright, comfortable bed and couch. I will definitely stay again and upgrade to a bigger size if we bring the kids.

The bed was worn out as you always rolled to the center of it. The large element on the stove also had some issues and only worked some times.

The place could use some TLC. New build going up 15 ft away! Roofer pounding all day! The cutlery was old, none matching. Considering what we paid, this is not acceptable. Broken toaster and burnt out Fry pans. Neighbour 6 ft away, shared drive.

    Great location for Ucluelet hikes

The house has a spiral staircase which could be difficult to navigate for some. Extra pillows and blanket would have been nice (although I'm sure they would have provided if I'd asked). A working hot tub year around would certainly have been appreciated (a hot tub feels pretty good on a surfer's body). Also (although it's a super minor detail...), ambiance lighting would have been nice in the house. It's very bright everywhere.

Great location for wandering on Terrace Beach and accessing the lighthouse trails. It's very quiet and peaceful. The place was very clean. We liked the dog water dish and blanket.

The only bad thing we can say, which really isn’t that bad is the barbeque was rather anemic.

We had unit #29, no hot tub, but we knew that. 3 minute walk to Little beach. Quiet cabin, great deck, peekaboo view of the water. The odd numbered cabins back onto the forest, not the main road, so quieter.

Check-in was weird. They requested communication via text rather than the app, and I said no (I'm just as worried about scams as they are). They called me up and asked again and I refused, and they cut off the call abruptly. In the end I picked up the envelope taped to the office door, and it had 3 sentences and the entry door code, no big deal.

Cute little cabin. Kitchenette had everything we needed, including an oven for our frozen lasagna. TV was great. Wifi worked well. We could walk to the trailhead for the really pretty lighthouse trail.
