The mosquitoes (it's expected in the wilderness) and the noise when people are talking in their vehicles as our yurt was close to the road.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family. It's our first time sleeping in a yurt and was surprised that it is equipped with cabinet, fridge, heater and fan which is needed for hot summer days. The room is very spacious and the washrooms are very clean. The staff were very helpful. We enjoyed the glamping experience here.

We like everything about it. Except for the washroom facilities. There were only two shower stalls and toilets for many of us and with their families to share in the yurt and camp site area. Multiple times we had to wait in line for the washroom.

Close to the Scandinavian spa we were going to. Very relaxing staying in the yurt not having to build our own tent.

The amount of time there was hot water limited per shower session could've been a bit longer as I could not wash both my hair and body within the time given before the water turned cold.

I was very disappointed to find that my reserved cabin was changed without any prior notice. I specifically selected my original cabin for personal reasons, and being relocated without communication was upsetting. Additionally, the cabin we were assigned was not properly cleaned inside, which further impacted our experience.

There was only two bathrooms and two showers. It wasn’t full at this time, but we can only imagine how busy it would be when the campground and yurts are full.

We like that we had our own little private area to sit in out front of the yurts. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and it was quiet.

There wasn't great sound proofing in the Yurt so you could hear everyone outside, which was actually fine most of the time as it was pretty quiet, but we were wondering if people outside were also able to hear our conversations inside our Yurt. Also the cleaning time for the only bathroom facilities by the Yurt was inconvenient, the whole toilet & shower block was closed for cleaning every day, usually when I wanted to shower or brush my teeth in the morning, so we would be delayed going to the mountain waiting for them to become available. Maybe change the cleaning time to a quieter time of day like the afternoon.

Spacious family sized room, it was warmer than we expected and was so nice to see the stars through the dome window at the top of the Yurt. Great location only 5 mins from Whistler Village. It was even more conveniently located than I realised, right next to the Nordic Spa.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I stayed in yurt #2…pet friendly. Check-in was quick and easy. My yurt had electricity. It had 2 baseboard heaters that kept me very warm when the temperature dropped to 0. I was able to charge my phone and plug my fan in for white noise. There was a mini fridge that came in handy. The yurt also had a box of tissues, extra linens, pillows, and blankets. Washrooms were very clean and a very short walking distance, but lots of stairs…so if you’re not into stairs…I don’t recommend.

They don’t have options for breakfast, maybe they can have some space for at least American breakfast. But honestly it depends in what kind of room you want to stay in.

Everything its so beautiful, clean and very clear to understand where is everything. The place is surround bye beautiful trees and nature.

We had so much fun staying in the Yurt. It had a bunk with a full or queen size bed on the bottom. Then a twin trundle across the room there were three of us. It was spacious. There was a nice table with four chairs. The room was completely clean and it was an easy walk to the bathroom with showers. That was also spotless. The staff was very kind and helpful. They had a little shop at the main desk in case you need to buy food or drinks. There were many people camping in RVs, which surprise me because it was snowing outside, but they all seemed happy.

There was no online streaming like netflix.

I really liked the ambiance of the log cabin. The heating was also great, especially we came on winter time so this was really important. We also got everything we need in this place.

Happy with the Riverside Resort

We stayed in a log cabin. Warm, clean & tidy. More than adequate for two adults. Only a 20-25 minute scenic walk into village. 3-5mins by car. Excellent value for an expensive resort area.

My only suggestion would be stocking the little store by reception with a few more items: milk, bread, eggs…that kind of thing. All they had were camping supplies and ice cream.

Stunning cabins, exceptional use of space, beautiful location. You can walk into Whistler along the main back trail that’s well maintained during snow. There’s a gorgeous little playground in the snow. Perfect place to stay with a family, and very dog friendly.
