Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaOccasionally there was some street noise, but it didn’t disturb us too much.
Our room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated, with comfortable queen beds. We appreciated having a kitchen space and table, and enjoyed using the coffee maker each morning. The hotel was situated right in the middle of the Saint-Roch neighbourhood (lots of cafes and restaurants), and it was only about a 15-20 minute walk up to the old city.

United KingdomThere was no lift so had to haul case up stairs. Room fine for 1 person but would have been hard to find room for cases if 2 people in room. Room cold at times
Hotel was close to train station and 20 min walk of downtown Quebec.

CanadaExcellent location, on a cute street with cafès and shops. We found the walk to Old City very doable, took us 15 min and very easy to do with sidewalks, a park. The hotel is new, well maintained, spotless.

GermanyParking can be challenging. Windows cannot be opened.
The hotel is truely almost invisible from the street, yet it has many rooms. Note that you have to climb stairs as there is no elevator and the rooms are all above ground level. The room was very clean, nicely decorated and quiet. The old city is still within walking distance.

CanadaThey did not renew the coffee cartridges for my second day despite I asked. They said "we refill the storage box" but they never did.
Extremely clean. Everything was like brand new. The kitchen appliances were beyond the standards of a hotel room. Shops around...Nice colors in room. Multiple light options, you could adjust the light of room with multiple lights it had. It was one of my best experiences in terms of cleanliness.

United StatesLocation is generally good, but it is definitely not in the tourist hotspot (i.e petit champlain, place d’armes etc.). It’s about a 30 min walk to the tourist hotspots and sightseeing places that you see about Quebec on social media. There is no elevator that I saw. No issue for me because I was on the 2nd floor and had a little carryon that I could bring up the stairs, but if it was a larger, heavier suitcase, I’d imagine having no elevator would be annoying.
This hotel is really so lovely. So clean, so modern and in a location right next to a supermarket and a lot of restaurants. It’s also close to the train station! I had no issues at all honestly. I would definitely 100000% stay again!

United KingdomIf you have difficulty with stairs, request a lower floor room as there are a lot of steps. It is stated that there is no lift but it is quite a steep climb with bags.
Location was perfect and the room fresh and well decorated. Check in was super easy and communication fantastic.

Canada10/10 So good , clean , fresh and comfortable. Noise isolated room located in 15 min from city centre, around a lot of shops and restaurants. Room was very clean and well organized. We use the parking behind a hotel it cost 22$for 24 hours and 2 min from hotel. I was so surprised how they pay attention to details. Even show gel was smelling roses Wow. Thank you. In that area is a lot of homeless ( but I think it’s normal for that area Bcs some government building help them with food). Definitely I’ll stay here again.

MexicoThe location is convenient, but the area has a huge homelessness problem. Obviously not the hotel's resposibility or fault, but be prepared to see people do all sorts of things outside.
Very cute interior design, the room was perfectly clean and comfortable. The hotel doesn't have a reception area, but the staff was extremely helpful through messages on booking.com and answered all of my questions on the spot. If you're thinking between the two parking garages, I highly recommend using the private one instead of the public garage—it's easy to book, and is a much nicer place to leave your car overnight. Overall, an incredible little hotel that's perfect for a weekend trip.

CanadaWe could hear the neighbors during the day/early night. We didn't mind, but keep in mind if you want a no noise hotel room.
Amazing decor, everything was very clean. Comfortable bed, beautiful view, lots of windows with natural light. Nice shower with amenities. Great Nespresso coffee machine and coffee accessible. Mini fridge working great. Stovetop and (1) pot available. The two beds were separated by a curtain to give privacy, which was great. TV with all platform you need to watch movies or listen to music. The lighting is nice too, warm and not to bright, multiple choices of which light switch to open to create a nice atmosphere. 2 minutes walk from a chain supermarket, and a local supermarket with local produce. Cute little coffee shops all around. Very good restaurant just in front. There was a small diner table with two chairs perfect for drinking your coffee. Everything was perfect, would recommend without hesitation!

AustraliaPoor communication beforehand in terms of how to access the building. Stairs only, therefore if you have heavy luggages... Good luck. There is no desk or any surfact that can be used to work on. The cleaning staff cannot really speak English, although the online chat is rather responsive.
Very aesthetic decor. Good room structure, especially the bathroom. Close to good quality cafes, big supermarkets and trainstation.

Rose Hôtel Invisible is our first stay in Canada and it immediately made us fall in love with Quebec! I have to say you’ve done an extraordinary job combining modern well performing facilities with exceedingly aesthetic satisfaction. It’s peaceful and secure. It’s truly an “invisible” gem hidden in the nice downtown area. Many appreciations!

Nice and clean hotel. There is no reception, but the contact with the staff is still super easy. Persons working there are very helpful. I did like the location, not in the old town but still very central, and lot of cafés and restaurants options.
