What’s not to like ?

The privacy and seclusion very peaceful and zen but only a few minutes drive to town the longest drive we did was 30 min. The host for this property are very friendly and are able to guide you around for good places to eat and go for a drink or a Ice cream

We loved everything

Everything was excellent - the Suite was so cozy, Sue was so nice, the breakfast was delicious, the terrace was wonderful and the location is just beautiful. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Sue was incredible. Very responsive and even waited for us late at night for check in because the ferry was running late. The breakfast is unbelievable (especially the scones)!!

Just one suggestions, during the fall and or winter months maybe some better lighting for reading, etc, would be nice. We were visiting during October and the room was a little dark for reading. Otherwise everything was great.

Location was lovely, quiet but close to downtown if you wanted to be there. Room was large and well appointed, bed comfortable and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was terrific and just what we needed to start the day.

We had an amazing stay at this charming place . The place itself is beautiful, it’s on the host’s property, yet offers complete privacy. The fenced patio is a fantastic feature, especially if you’re traveling with pets, and the outdoor setup is simply lovely. Inside, the space has a unique charm, with décor that reminded us of a cozy hotel in Mexico. It’s comfortable, spacious, and absolutely adorable. The included breakfast was delicious, easily comparable to a meal you’d pay for at a nice restaurant. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful. When we used the hot tub, they were working in their yard but went inside to give us more privacy, which we really appreciated. I also forgot my headphones, and they mailed them to me right away—a gesture that truly speaks to how caring and considerate they are. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it!

Nothing to dislike.

We loved this property. The apartment is bright and sunny, really clean and had everything we needed. Sue and Chris are great hosts. Sue is so friendly and told us all about the area. She is a fantastic cook and makes the best scones we have ever tasted. The spa pool and sitting area were also much appreciated and we enjoyed the late afternoon sun. All in all, a lovely place to stay.

We really enjoyed this quiet retreat! The space was private, clean, and set-up nicely. It was a quick drive from town and the breakfasts were delicious. The hosts were lovely!

Great hosts, great location, great breakfasts. Comfy bed, seating for breakfast, bar fridge, coffee maker, everything we needed! Loved being able to take our small dog, in the area of our digs, was a completely fenced garden which made it so easy to let him out in the mornings, didn't even have to get dressed to do so.

This space is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully planned, including a little balcony and a modern fireplace. There is a private outdoor space as well, including a hottub ,outdoor shower, fairy lights, and more. Sue and Chris were kind hosts, even accommodating our early morning departure to meet the six AM ferry. We enjoyed staying here very much.

We stayed in the large room, above the garage, separate from but close to the main house. Very comfortable! The hot tub is a short walk away and was really nice in the evenings. Sue and Chris were very welcoming, and breakfasts were fantastic!

A beautiful spot on the island. The hosts were fantastic and breakfast each day was delicious. We really enjoyed the private garden and hot tub. Hope to be back one day!

I think the only thing that would have been good is if there was maybe a list of dietary preferences for guests to choose from instead of asking about dietary concerns. Neither of us had any allergies, but while I loved all the breakfasts, will eat anything and loved receiving mystery meals, my friend has more particular tastes and would have liked some options (like soft or hard poached eggs, and plain yoghurt versus flavoured yoghurt, etc.).

We loved the decor, the thoughtful touches in the room's design, the size of the room, the deck with the private hot tub, the yummy breakfast, and our friendly hosts. The price was also reasonable and we appreciated that.
