How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Being in a room along the hwy Having a walking disability and my room was at the very end of the hall away from the elevators Needing to use the Bathroom before check-in, with a walking disability & having to walk 125 ft to get to the bathroom

The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. The shower was difficult to figure out.
It had a very nice foyer, staff were good, free parking, quiet, good size suite. Upgraded without asking.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. I also liked the option of choosing "refresh amenities only" or "refresh room" by placing a tag on the door. It felt less wasteful than full service daily. Also enjoyed visiting the nearby Moxies for dinner and /or drinks.

The hotel pool is miniscule, and the hot tub area is 1/2 the size of the pool. Most hotels would have a pool bigger than both their pool and hot tub combined. The gym is also very small. The stay costs me $280 a night after tax and it didn't even come with a breakfast. The pillow was too hard and too big causing my neck to hurt so I had to sleep without the pillow. The hotels sound proofing is not the best. Could hear the person next door coughing and the constant traffic on the QEW.
The Hotel was clean, the facilities in the room was nice and modern. Fridge, ironing board, coffee machine, glasses, cups, safety deposit box, AC, can't ask for more. Location was good, next to a Walmart which of course also has a McD and Tim's. There's a smart center plaza next to hotel so there's dining options for those who stay longer than our one night, within walking distance.

we couldn't figure out the shower. the water was extremely hot and we couldn't get it to be usable

Not necessarily a dislike, but my tv in the sleeping area had no signal. Shiv came to take a look but could not figure it out. I did however, have the tv in the suite area that was working. I did notice the fridge had some long drippy stains on the outside door & a lot of hand/finger smudges along the counter edge. It shown through with the reflection of the light coming through. I was also on the side of the highway. My sleep was interrupted multiple times from big trucks using their air brakes, bubububuuuu & motorcycles, gearing up with the vroom vroom. I also feel the furniture in the room, should be washed or replaced. It has been 7yrs from opening. The carpet across the front desk where there is a computer, definitely requires washing or replaced. If things were kept up daily, there should be no need for washes or replacements.
Shiv was absolutely outstanding on check in. Explained everything pertinent to my stay. Proffessional & very polite. On check, the young lady was professional & asked how my stay was. Professional & full of smiles!

Pool was really small. Wouldn’t be good for kids to play in. Hot tub was wonderful though!!
Convenient location. Perfect for trips to Niagara Falls and surrounding areas. Great beds. Spacious room. We stayed 5 nights and had a room with a sofa and comfy chair. Stores nearby. Restaurants nearby as well. Front desk staff were great. I would stay here again.

If I had to nitpick, there were a lot of little flies/midges that seemed to have found their way into the room. We noticed them as soon as we arrived. I couldn’t leave a cup of coffee or a piece of fruit uncovered without flies landing on it or drowning in my drink. Probably just the time of year and proximity to water, but was a bit annoying. The sofa bed was a great option for us with our kids but like most sofa beds not the most comfortable mattress.
Very clean, nice contemporary decor, comfortable bed, and quiet room despite location close to highway/lots of guests at the hotel. Appreciated the pool and hot tub, though the pool itself is very small. Location has pros and cons: not a picturesque area immediately around hotel but it was a great landing place for a local wedding and had excellent amenities adjacent (Denny’s, Moxies, Walmart). If you head on the other side of the highway there is a nice waterfront strip with activities for all ages, including trails, miniature golf and a waterpark (which was not open yet when we were there). Very friendly staff from front desk to housekeeping.

Unfortunately, various sports tournaments with younger families allowed for much disruption as the children used the hallway as a playground.
It was a lovely comfortable stay with my daughter.
