We like this charming old, perfectly located house. But the main asset is our hostess, Elizabeth. She made you feel at home and welcome there. The house is spotless, and the breakfast is the best we had during our trip to Nova Scotia and PEI

Elizabeth & Glenn have put so much work into making the house comfortable and useable- the breakfast was made from scratch every morning- they fed us earlier than usual when we needed to leave earlier- and the rooms had everything we needed.

For me, the bed was too soft. Other than that, the room was very clean. This was in an old historic house and was what I was expecting when we booked.

The location was very good. The town is small and the room was close to everything we wanted to do. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was excellent. The breakfast was made to order and was very good.

The home looks just like the photos. The breakfast was good and we had a great conversation with another couple during breakfast. You get a lot for the price. A clean accommodation and a good breakfast with lots of coffee! Easy free parking.

This room is small and there is no cupboard or hooks to hang clothes.

We stayed in the Aloha room of this B&B that has a double bed with ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. The room is at the back of the house and was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was nice and the place was really clean. The breakfast was great and was customized for each client. The eggs Benedict, fruit and yogurt were excellent. The wi-fi is good and is included. It's an easy walk to the local restaurants.

I have no complaints or concerns.

This large home has been tastefully decorated to honour its historic charm. My room was well lit and quiet. I chose to open the screened window rather than use the heat pump provided, which is a nice option. I slept well on a high quality mattress. Self serve tea and coffee is available anytime. Ensuite bathroom is lovely - all amenities provided. The entire home is wonderfully clean and well maintained. Breakfast was made to order: lovely fruit salad with yogurt and perfectly prepared omelette.

Made to feel very welcome by Glenn & Elizabeth. They helped us in our planning of the next leg of our adventure. Beautiful home & we felt at home. Room & house Immaculate. Excellent breakfast, including teapot 😂 . Great to have hosts who chat & have a sense of humour. Not imposing but there if needed.

Wonderful hosts! Delightful, historic home in this gem of an old town where history abounds and close coastal scenery is just minutes away. We took a lovely drive to Cape George Point and back stopping at each park and historic marking. Lovely. This was after a plentiful and delicious breakfast at this quaint B&B. Highly recommend!

I wish I could have stayed in Pictou longer and enjoyed the history and crafts.

My room was very pretty and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The roomy and comfortable sitting room allowed me to connect with other guests, and we had a great time.

The hosts are so friendly and welcoming that you are immediately put at ease. I'm sure that's why all the guests had such a jolly time at breakfast together. Also, the beds are very comfortable and the location so quiet you can sleep with the windows open.

Our room was spacious and comfortable. The house has an interesting history which Glen and Elizabeth are keen to preserve. As well as our room we had use of a comfortable lounge room. We appreciated being offered dinner in after a long day
