Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Fire alarm in room kept going off caused by the steam in the bathroom (rm434). THAT HAS GOT TO GET FIXED. I wanted to ask for a discount because of that but the ladies at the front desk were SO KIND AND HELPFUL ABD WONDERFUL that I decided not to complain! Great staff and location!!

Non-residents could use the lift and go upstairs without using an access card. Could be a security loophole.

I had three issues with our stay: 1. The front desk staff had a :haughty attitude! I interacted with five different individuals, f I v e and not one smiled. They literally stood behind the counter with their nose in the air, looking down at customers looking annoyed with each one as they interacted. I know it was not directed at me personally. It appears to be the culture in that area. I say that area because any interaction with the housekeeping staff was quite the contrary. Every housekeeping staff member we passed spoke first and greeted us with a smile! Even the apparent managerThey were so welcoming ! 2. I mentioned that there was an apparent renovation in the recent past. One aspect that seemed to be overlooked has to do with charging outlets for electronics. It was three of us in a large 2 bed room. Charging outlets on the side of the desk were worn and would not hold the USB. It was too loose to charge. The outlet on the alarm clock was functional. Fortunately, I had a charging stand for my watch, phone, and pods. I had it on the floor under the desk charging from an outlet. My husband and son had charging bricks and charged their electronics sequentially at the coffee machine and lamp outlets. Not what would be expected from a hotel room in this price range. 3. We were on a week vacation, culminating at this Sheraton in Laval. This was the only hotel that gave me a hassle about using a debit card. The clerk appeared disgusted that I handed him my debit card and returned it to me. (I had already paid for the stay with that same debit card), as he also turned and expressed the same facial gesture to a customer asking about replacing a lost key. He spent some time on his computer, not giving me much in the way of information. I wasn't quite sure he was coming back to me. Finally, by lecturing me, he explained the "ONLY OTHER OPTION" was a $200 dep. But, I HAD TO BE SURE TO COME BACK TO THE DESK WHEN I LEFT to reclaim it.
The entire facility was very clean, apparently renovated from the original hotel. The amenities available within the facility were impressive. The eating and drinking options were convenient. We had coffee and pastry that were delicious! I find food is typically awesome in Montreal! We found the stay peaceful, quiet, and not crowded. As large as the facility is, we didn't see more than a dozen people in any one venue. The service is individualized. The facility successfully presents a feeling of granduer. The free parking was extremely convenient. The location is within a large shopping area. In comfortable weather, shopping sprees are within walking distance with upscale vendors. Overall, the facility and location are lovely..

Had to ask for a bigger fridge and microwave. Tea and coffee would taste bettwr in proper cups rather then paper cups. No cutleries in the room
