    Can't think of a thing!

The bed was so comfy! The location, right by the Riverside Park made for a perfect evening as we headed there after dinner to listen to live music at the bandshell and then we had a most pleasant stroll by the river which included taking in a glorious sunset. Having Moxie's Restaurant adjacent to the hotel turned out to be both convenient and an excellent meal. We were only there for one night so didn't use the pool or hot tub but will try them out next time we are in Kamloops.

The fact that they didn’t have liquid soap in refillable containers as they still use small bar soaps.

The location was really good, very center of downtown.

No one told us that the whole building rumbles when the trains go by (which is dozens of times of day and night) so I woke up thinking we were experiencing an earth quake. The rooms on the park side were great for sound proofing so you really couldn't hear the trains at all but the whole bed shook when they went by. After figuring out it was just a train, I was able to get back to sleep and from that point on the shaking didn't wake me up or bother me at all.

We loved the Sandman Signature in Kamloops! The location was excellent, it was so close to the park, the view was spectacular (get Parkside View rooms!), and the beds were really comfortable. We also loved the pool, hot tub, and the lounge area that overlooks the park. The doors could be opened to the outside lounge area from the indoor pool so we were able to hear the nightly concerts. The lounge area had music playing, there were comfortable chairs and loungers and it was a great area to relax and people watch or watch the kids in the pool. I loved that the pool was open at 7:00am and closed late at 11:00pm. The gym was really well equipped and had multiple TV's. We had a suite with a kitchen which came with a dishwasher which was an awesome feature. There was an air conditioner in the living room as well as the bedroom which was great since my kid gets cold at night and I run hot. The beds were very comfortable and the pull out sofa was great for my child. They said it was very comfortable too. The restaurants attached were convenient and they had pretty good coffee in the lobby. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. We loved the park across the street with so many things to do for the kids. The waterpark has to be the best one we've ever been to and the river swimming area was great too. Nice sandy beach and roped off area but still be very cautious as the current is strong and there are no lifeguards on duty.

The room hadn't been cleaned properly on arrival, with previous guests food left in the fridge and no clean glasses put out (we were bang on check in time, not early). However, staff did very quickly address this when reported and had even offered a room switch if we'd wanted. The room could do with a refurb - there was heavy staining on the shower floor which also made it look like it hadn't been cleaned. The restaurant was closed for refurbishment which wasn't mentioned on booking or at anytime before check in. Still had a comfortable stay.

The communal areas were bright, spacious and stylishly decorated. Staff were extremely helpful, kind and professional. Bed was large and very comfortable. Good sized room and bathroom. Good facilities in room, with fridge, microwave, coffee maker etc., nice toiletries provided. Lots of parking.

    Best Location for our Tournament

The alarm clock was broken, the AC started squealing, the fridge sucked (didn't get cold) and where it was located (bottom of a drawer) was not convenient, curtain was broken up top, some jacuzzi jet spayers weren't working properly -- I think they need to get maintenance on a few of their things especially when people pay good money to stay there.

The location of this hotel is always great for our pickleball tournament. Although it is extremely close to the train station, if you are playing and sleep easily after a hectic day, this place is good. However, if you are a light sleeper and don't like noise, this is NOT the place for you!

I found the room was pretty banged up. the molding in the bathroom was all chipping and the shower needs to be re siliconed. The sliding glass door didn't seal well which caused a draft and lots of street noise. The sliding glass door/window was very dirty, not nice to look through. the hallways were dirty and needed a vacuum. garbage cans in the hallway were not emptied from the night before (full of beer cans and wine bottles). also the pool room was not cleaned or refreshed when we went for a swim at 9am. no clean towels. Just a heap of used ones plus another over flowing garbage can in there aswell...more beer cans and food garbage.

The lobby and sitting area was beautiful also the beds were comfortable

Signs in car park suggestion fee of $30. Not apparent until we went in to the hotel that the car parking was complementary. I did get the money refunded but it took a couple of days and a bit of inconvenience going back and forth. Real issue however was the noise from the train that arrived circa 3am. Noise in it arriving and the shutting back and forth. If wanting a good nights sleep, ear plugs or only stay if at the front of the hotel.

The hotel was fine, room comfortable, no food option but was able to eat at Moxies, next to the hotel.

City view room picked up noise from the trains through the night. We had emailed to upgrade to riverside views but to no avail and no response. Our Group had 3 rooms one of which was separated from the others - never understand this when you’re booking 6 months in advance. Double room for 2 people yet only 1 robe (policy it seems).

Unfortunately this hotel is located right beside a very busy train track. Our room was on the side of the tracks and I couldn't believe how often trains were going by and all night - felt non-stop - there was so much noise and we could even feel the vibrations in our bed! Too bad because we loved everything else about this hotel.

This is a very comfortable hotel and worked well for a mid-journey stop for us. Nice having a couple of restaurant options on the property. Also, nice location for going for a walk in the nearby park or easy access to downtown Kamloops.

The room backed onto the railway and was extremely noisy throughout the night. Unfortunately, this prevented us from having a good night's sleep after a long day of travelling.
