The inability of the counter staff to show basic courtesy and an understanding of how the hospitality industry is run in this country. Locked out of my room twice. Couldn't check in at check in time and told to come back later. From where I was expected to come back from I don't know? I'd just driven from Alaska.

No place for soap in shower, no air conditioner, no wifi code, not much place for putting toiletries, no smoke alarm, no face clothes, no hooks to hang clothes in bathroom, had to slam door to close, when we thought it was locked it wasn't! Would like to have a security door guard, there was no note to hang on door for "do not disturb ", we needed help with getting door unlocked twice, need a rack to put luggage up off floor, no USB Ports, could have pamphlets what to do in town to make us stay longer.

We went to a restaurant for breakfast, hotel 's looked well used, clean and reasonable. Lots of space, great shower, quiet, even being on main road and still could have windows open. Great black out curtains. Kitchenette we didn't use, but looked fantastic. Flooring was perfect, absolutely not slippery when bathroom floor was wet. Toilet and sink great, great auto fan, lighting great everywhere. The "tiny" little lady that checked us in, and unlocked our door (even at 11pm) was fantastic. If she isn't the owner, she looked after us like she was the owner, sincerely caring for the hotel appearance outside, to caring for patrons needs inside. What a woman!

The Location of the Motel is very good, but the Motel itself is dirty, which is partly due to renovations in progress. The bedding is old and shaby.

They were apparently renovating some of the rooms. Our room had a very bad smell! There was a new sink and cabinet in the bathroom, but when we looked at the plumbing under the sink, the gooseneck part of the plumbing was installed wrong. Instead of being in a downward position to create 'trap', it was sideways, alowing sewer smells to come up the drain? The bad smell could have been something else to do with the renovations going on or the wrongly installed sink drain?

The coffee machine in the breakfast area made amazing coffee!

The whole property was under construction for renovation and while we were not really bothered by it with noise, there was stuff standing everywhere. That’s understandable and renovations are of course good, but maybe people should be warned about this happening at the hotel at the time of booking.

The Wi-Fi is subpar very difficult to use your computer as the Wi-Fi continually cuts out

The sink gutter was smelling too bad making it hard to use the bathroom at all. They should have cleaned the gutters and checked it before giving to the guests.

It’s very dated but they are currently working on renovations. I’m sure they can turn this into a very nice update motel.

The manager and people running the reception were very nice, accommodating and friendly.

The building was overall not very clean, especially in the hallways and breakfast room. The breakfast was rather disappointing.
