Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaWifi was spotty at best so I couldn't do my work. Maybe that's a good thing but should be top notch at this price point.
Great location, hip design and the bathtub in Room 102 was to die for, need a bit more space for bathroom items but just a really lovely spot. Great french restaurant Poppies down the street, parking and a beautiful backyard with firepit, it's own sweet little bar, a sauna and a cold plunge pool. Walking distance to everything you need. Fabulous all round would definitely return!

CanadaWonderful modern microtel within a renovated Victorian house. Staff were very friendly and personable. We were extremely pleased with, and quite enjoyed, the linens, bedding, and furnishings that seemed very thoughtfully sourced and largely using natural materials. It is extremely contemporary in that regard. Since staying there, we have researched some of the suppliers and will be purchasing their goods for our own home. The hotel is also well-located within comfortable walking distance of numerous bars and restaurants in downtown Collingwood, and we were happy to see the property was also being used for comfortable events. Though we did not have the opportunity to use the sauna, we were pleased to see that there was one as this makes it even more likely that this would be our first choice on any return trip to the area. We were also pleased to see a bike rack as this makes it more likely for us to incorporate a stay there into a future cycling tour.

CanadaEverything was great
This is a very trendy hotel newly renovated hotel. the beds are incredibly comfortable. The rooms are romantic. It is extremely pet friendly. It used to be an old house converted to hotel so there’s a side yard for your dog to play and we can hang out with hammocks & fire pit, a wine bar/snack restaurant. We didn’t get to use the sauna and cold plunge, but it looked fabulous. The hotels perfectly located one block from the main street in Collingwood that has all the stores and all the great restaurants. I will definitely stay again highly highly recommended.

CanadaThere wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.
Well, thank you yo Caitlyn, and Jesse, for asking sure that our stay was top notch. There was absolutely nothing that was left unattended. The time we spent in the lounge, was so much fun, and relaxing. Caitlyn ensured that we had everything we needed, and they gave us very useful information, on what to do, in the Collingwood area.

United KingdomHouse is very noisy, all the doors are wooden, while I applaud dog friendly house as there was a dog upstairs who was unsettled and moving around a lot, his clogs sounded like clogs on the floor boards. Windows blinds are not blackout as described, room while not dirty was not great either as windows very dusty. Bed mattress far too soft and needs replacing. Property generally noisy and can hear other guests moving and talking on their rooms.
Location great and staff friendly and helpful. Ambience of facility is nice. Roll top bath in room was lovely.
