Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe Hasty Market downstairs looks a little worse for wear, but that's the only negative I can think of.
Really great living room/kitchen space with everything you need. Clean and comfortable bedrooms and bathroom. Great view of the city from the large living room windows. Very easy to access the unit, connect to WiFi, etc. Fantastic location in easy walking to so many of Toronto's great neighbourhoods - Queen West, College St, Chinatown, Kensington Market, Eaton's Center, etc.

United KingdomNot much to improve. A few hooks; on backs of doors or hall wall would be really good for coats and towels when wet. We weren’t keen on the plastic sheet under bedding as hot/uncomfortable. Nor the heating system which was fan based and would come on loudly. We could have turned it off I guess, but then it was -18 outside!
Great one bed apartment, immaculately clean, everything you need for little bit longer stay, cooking and clothes washing facilities. Smooth contactless arrival and departure system. Ideal location downtown, easy walk to Museums and Galleries, Restaurants, Bars, Queen St West, Shopping, Historic areas and Subway. Quiet sleep too, as our apartment was onto a small side street rather than the main road. Loved that there were extra supplies of coffee, washing bits, fresh towels etc available if you needed them. Just made things easy and stress free.

United KingdomIt’s lacking dedicated parking but there are plenty of affordable and safe multi story parking lots no
Clean, spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 teenagers, and the location was perfect for our stay in Toronto and close enough to downtown without too much time wasted travelling. All amenities that we needed were provided, and even access to extra items which we had ran out of (coffee, bin liners, clothes washing capsules etc). The location was not too noisy for us considering its nproximity to the centre, beds were comfortable and everything was all in order, support was quick to respond when we had queries

AustraliaOnly one suggestion, perhaps a chest of drawers in one of the cupboards. Very minor though.
Sonder on Elm was a very convenient apartment, close to subway, supermarket and many eating places. We walked down to the CN Tower in about 20 minutes. They also have an app which helps with neighbourhood facilities. Thank you, we loved the Thai restaurant Pai. Would thoroughly recommend.

Poland- noise. it seemed like somebody was washing drying every night. Air-climate system is strange, it turned on regularly and almost blew me out. And of cause it was extremely noisy. Sometimes something turned on at the night and the whole apartment vibrating. - Everybody in the street can see you inside. Curtains are very helpful. - A street is narrow but quite busy. You can see tracks roofs in front of you. - Homeless people around. One of them had breakfast on the stairs to the hotel, left a lot of garbage and then nobody cleaned up after him.
-Great location - close to metro, railway station, downtown, grocery in the building. -fully equipped as a usual apartment, everything of good quality. -clean inside. - 24 hours digital access.

SingaporeNo elevators available on the premise, and the stairs' steps are very high - making the moving of medium-to-large sized luggages tedious.
Convenient location near St Patrick Station. It is also ~15min walking distance to Chinatown and CF Eaton Centre where all the shopping and multiple cuisine eateries are located at.

CanadaUncomfortable and worn couch for sitting! The only area that wasn't impeccably clean was the ceiling fan in the bathroom which was furry with dust and dirt. Took a long time to get hot water from taps.
Location was walkable to hospital and downtown. Building was quiet. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking real meals. Hasty market downstairs was convenient. Easy access instructions.

United KingdomThe bedroom was next to the aircon engine so there was a constant buzzing that could be noisy at night. The bed was smaller than expected. Also the TV had very limited available programmes.
Very central location, easy to walk everywhere. The apartment was new and very well equipped. There were supplies for breakfast such as coffee and teas.

CanadaOur unit faced the street. In the first morning, construction workers operated noisy equipment right under our bedroom window (second floor). It was unpleasant. However, the rest of our stay was very pleasant.
The unit (we had a one-bedroom condo) is lovely. It is very clean and well equipped with excellent appliances. The location is fantastic. There is no lobby/reception there. However, we had one small problem with the tv, we called them and they fixed it very fast. Finally, the Sonder app is very helpful. I liked the digital key.

ThailandSonders has personal that answers emails which weren't helpful. The email responses were slow and everything we asked for was a big no. Early check in -NO, Every hour we checked in early would cost us 25CAD same as late check out. House keeping would also be charged. I'm not sure how Sonders want to position themselves Sonders should be a bit more understanding for travellers. Sometimes, we can't get the flights we want and we are stuck. We got to Sonders at 2pm and we wanted to checked in immediately because we're tired. If the room is available, let the guests check in. Same as the late check outs.
This is my first time using Sonders so I was a little apprehensive as it's not a hotel. But when we arrived we met the most wonderful Sonder personnel Allison. She is caring and understanding. We had just landed after an 18 hour flight and were exhausted and hungry. Allison immediately arranged to have us checked into the apartment at 2pm and helped us settled in. She took away the baby cot , opened the sofa bed for us, showed us where the amenities are, and approved our late check out. She made us feel welcome and that's why we will use Sonders in the future. Sonders have a fully kitchen which was very useful and we appreciates the washing machine and dryer. All personnel we met at the apartment was polite and helpful. We had a wonderful stay at Sonders and looks forward to more Sonder stays at different corners of the world.

AustraliaFlooring is a little worn (vinyl and also the carpet).
Location was very handy to downtown (20 min walk to Union Station and CN Tower), and the facility feels secure. Kitchen equipment is in good condition. There is a Handy Mart next door and a diner across the road for breakfast and lunch. Communication from Sonder was very good, with fast response to online queries.

ChinaNo staffs on site and thus unable to get any communication or supports when there’s a problem. The chat on the app is unresponsive! Also it’s next to a hospital so some ambulance noises during the night are unavoidable.
Location is good, flat is well furnished and well equipped with basic amenities.
