Everything! Beautiful Inn and our room and views of sea were breathtaking. Beautiful restoration of this old church and exceptional inn keepers Eva and Tom. Breakfast delicious with lots of choices.

Star of the Sea B&B is a gorgeous property just a bit outside of Halifax. The rooms are dreamy, with beautiful little touches. The breakfast was phenomenal, with a choice of breakfast that is served room service style. 10/10 stay

it was perfect

The owners creatively converted a lovely old chapel into a B and B----sitting on the edge of a cliff overlooking the phenomenal Halifax harbor. The sunrise view from our window was magnificent along with seabirds circling over the water and yachts sailing by. The owners were warm, and helpful--breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed every moment ! Highly recommended !

The only thing was the parking was a little tight if you or other guest have a larger vehicle but there are some options if need be and the owners would be flexible to find a solution. On Booking.com it stated Beach front...no beach front or beach in walking distance.

The owners, Eva and Tom made you feel you at home and gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. They also were very helpful when ask on various places to visit and local coffee houses. The home is actually like the pictures but even better in real life. Me and my partner spoiled ourself for the first time to a 5 Star Bed and Breakfast and that what we experienced for those who really can't afford it all the time...IT WAS AMAZING. It is also very quiet and peaceful to unwind at the end of the day or wake up to amazing view of the water from different sitting areas. Thank you for our excape from a busy life and making our trip memorable.

Our only regret is that due to the flight cancellation we were only able to spend one night instead of two.

Location is perfect - on Ferguson Bay and outside central Halifax. Quiet, peaceful, and scenic. Cooked to order breakfasts delivered to your room. Eva and Tom were wonderful and very accommodating hosts. In fact, our flight from NY was cancelled so we had to drive up, thereby missing our first night, and they did not charge us for the cancellation. The weather was great so we enjoyed the views from the deck.

Beautiful place, great breakfast, lovely owners, heated pool! Like a cottage in the woods right on the water but it’s only a 15 minute drive to downtown. Wish we could have stayed longer.

For us, the price was a bit of a stretch. However, we would stay there again in a heart beat … and definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Tom & Eva were excellent hosts. The location/view was phenomenal! The breakfasts were outstanding!

No AC, but there was a ceiling fan, and we kept all the screened windows open for the cool sea breeze.

Just gorgeous location overlooking the ocean from a high hillside; we spent hours gazing from our window in our room - watching the boats go by, and taking joy in the birds, chipmunks, and a resident raccoon who nightly roamed the deck below us. The room was sparkling clean and the breakfasts were made to order, delivered to our room, and delicious! The innkeepers are delightful! The pool is worth noting (though we didn’t use it). It perches like an infinity pool overlooking the sea and is heated for your comfort.

The only thing I’d recommend and is a decaf tea option. Nothing we didn’t like.

Absolutely everything! So inviting, comfortable, and relaxing. The hosts and breakfast’s were amazingly too. So friendly and accommodating. We had just rode in on a motorcycle through 3 hours of cold rain and they did everything to help us warm up and feel comfortable.
