If you are in Nelson, stay at the Stirling All Suites Hotel! I recently stayed in the Deluxe King Suite and I loved every minute of it. The suites are beautifully decorated. You can tell the owners put their heart into every detail of the décor. I felt at home and peaceful as soon as I entered the suite. The location is also perfect. You can easily explore and enjoy Nelson's lovely downtown on foot. Finally, the hosts/owners are just terrific. Don't think that the contactless entry means you are not thought of and looked after. The hosts give fabulous details about the hotel, parking, things to do and they are super responsive to any questions/requests you may have. It is obvious they care about their clients' experiences. One of the best accommodation experiences of my various travels. Highly, highly recommend! Book today!

The room was centrally located, spacious, clean, and bright. It was great having a kitchen and laundry right in the suite. The thing that made this hotel stand out were the thoughtful touches in the room: a cozy throw blanket, a deck of cards, a bag of high quality coffee grounds, a selection of tea, the ability to connect to streaming from the tv, and even a noise machine!

The only small issue was lack of space for parking in the lot and having to park on the street. On the other hand, parking spaces were easy find.

Not only was the room light and airy with attractive decor, but it also was incredibly quiet. We loved having a well outfitted kitchen to eat some meals in. This property was outstanding!

The room was fantastic and we enjoyed our stay! The local coffee in our room was very good. The kitchen was well equipped and we didn't miss a thing. The room was very clean and when we needed new towels/sheets, they were provided immediately. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. We would love to come back in the future.

We were on a ski road tour and spent a few days here. Lovely place to stay great location down town. Keyless, staff less but a modern vibe in an old style building

The only tiny point I would say is that this is more like an Airbnb than a hotel as there aren’t really staff on sight and no front desk. I think there could be a slight tweak in the naming as it isn’t really a hotel.

We loved it all. It was super clean, comfortable, very well equipped with everything you need and decorated so well. The bed was so big and comfy and the location was perfect! We would absolutely be back in a heartbeat.

The pillows were very uncomfortable, too big and firm, I felt like I was sitting up! They should have one firm and one soft pillow. Parking was an issue, as there is construction next door and no available parking next to property. We found it across the street, fairly close, but it’s not free Monday to Saturday. The hotel manager offered us a spot after one night in the back of hotel ( which we had no access to prior as it wasn’t for studio rooms).

Great location, close to everything. The room was nice and cool , good quiet AC unit . Took us a while to figure out the remote , as you need to get very close to the unit to operate it. Unit is high up by the ceiling. We were there during a heat wave so very much appreciated. Nice and big bed , but very firm. Cute and modern bathroom and nicely appointed kitchen. Full size appliances , if we were to cook.

Room door rattles every time a building door is opened and it sounds like someone is coming into the room Bathroom door can be hard to open from the inside even when unlocked; squeaky hinges; doesn't latch easily Dryer stopped after a couple of minutes (we made do with a few short cycles and air drying) - our timing did not allow us to pursue with the staff Listing says parking is available. There is no parking available on site - only metered street parking. Microwave above the fridge would be very difficult for anyone on the shorter side - it was borderline for us Communications have a "pull" model i.e., "ask us". There is a sauna, but you have to ask about where it is and how to get to it. There are sauna instructions, but they are only available at the sauna. There is off-site parking, but you have to ask where it is (and when I asked about parking the off-site options were only mentioned but not specified and I was told to ask again so I couldn't be bothered). There is an online-only hotel guide, but it isn't complete, and not available in print. All this information exists - just provide it. Despite my grumbling, it was overall a great stay and we would return.

Although the bathroom was clean and had full amenities, the toilet area was a bit tight.

The room was clean, spacious and we loved the kitchenette. There were small touches that we really appreciated like salt, pepper, tea and coffee being provided. There was a Brita water jug in the fridge which saved us from buying bottled water. There was a small black towel marked Makeup, which for a person that is always worried about getting white facecloths covered in makeup, was such a thoughtful idea. Communication both before and during our stay was excellent. Marika provided very clear instructions of how to enter our suite as check in was contactless. She responded very quickly if we had any questions and her and Elon were very friendly when we met them. The location is ideal and close to restaurants and the lake. We would definitely return to this hotel.
