Unfortunately, the cleanliness was a 5/10, and the room itself looked a bit as if it were in the middle of renovations. The walls and ceiling looked undone and were unevenly painted, and the bathtub was held together with tape. There is certainly room for improvement for ambience and cleanliness. Overall, the stay was pleasant as the staff was very friendly and the room was quiet and cool at night. We stayed over the August long weekend with a full house, and I want to give credit to the very busy and hard-working staff who are running both the motel and the adjacent restaurant!

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. The layout was just weird to me., but it was still ok. The beds need to be replaced but they were still ok to sleep on. Whoever does the cleaning they just need to do a better job as there were cobwebs all over and there was mouse poop behind the couch.

They advertise a 2 bedroom but it isn’t truly a 2 bedroom. One “bedroom” has a curtain as a wall. The other bedroom has the front door and access to the bathroom. TV didn’t work. Internet was very weak.

We Walked in the room and the bed was right there. No room to really walk around. Bathroom door didn't close. Toilet seat didn't fit the toilet...it was to the side. Couldn't flush toilet paper down the toilet and the walls were paper thin.

- They should have supplied: 2 pillows each (not just one), 2 large towels (not just one and a face cloth), a bath mat - 2 dead light bulbs should be replaced in bathroom - as they supplied mugs and a kettle it would have been welcoming to supply coffee and milk. They have a restaurant, so that would have been easy enough to do - it would be sensible to supply written instruction on how to work the TV - sign saying “don’t put toilet paper in the toilet” should be removed!

It seemed not safe. the location is at the end of the street so is really dark. the room door had a basic lock. The painting and condition of the place looked old or not in good shape It wasn't dirty but it looked abandoned.

A lot more bad than good. The room was in disrepair (badly faded paint on door, microwave shelf had a lean, towel rack came off when I took down a towel, plastic cap on tap came off when I turned on the tap, shower had only one temperature, bedding was stained, they had a sign telling you not to flush anything in toilet including toilet paper). Also the tv worked but there was no cable tv. Since I don’t have a Netflix account, I couldn’t use the tv. There was no deadbolt on the door, only a push-button lock. There was no bedside lamp, so I had to stumble across the room in the dark after turning out the light. Big bug on bathroom floor. I got two bug bites on my stomach which may or may not have been from the bedding. The photos of the property on booking.com are extremely misleading. The place is a dump. And when I arrived there was no one on site. I had to call a phone number and they told me where to find the key. They showed up 15-20 minutes later and knocked on my door wanting payment. The lady was nice but the whole thing was very unprofessional. Also, and this isn’t the fault of management, there were two people partying right outside my room (in front of the window, actually) just before midnight. In terms of location, this property is on the edge of town but still very accessible to everything. However, it’s located at an intersection so there is a lot of traffic noise. Window had to be kept closed.

The air conditioning worked and it was quiet. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and a good shower head.

The bathroom door was hung very poorly and, therefore, was impossible to close. We actually had to get a wedge of wood to put under the door to keep it closed to within an inch of the door jam.

The bed was amazing. The blackout curtains did a great job. The refrigerator was very efficient and the a\c was the best we've ever had.

Room was very small, 12x12 including the bathroom. A queen bed and a small table and chairs, the room was full. Small window that you can't see out of unless your standing

This facility is an older style Inn and the building is very old. Exterior looks very beat up. It seems like the owners are trying to renovate one room at a time. A section of the building is broken/damaged which may not be a part of the Inn itself; however, it is very visible to the guests staying at the inn. There are primarily inn style accommodations available in this area - only a couple of US national chain hotels in Port Elgin area. Rates in the area seems mush higher when compared to the similar accommodations you get for the money in bigger towns/cities.

Clean room and mattress was comfortable. The manager seems very helpful.

Where do I begin... 1. Heat Pump Control was only in Chinese. I was able to figure out on/off and setting the Temperature, but could not figure out how to switch the mode from Cool to Heat. It dropped to single digits the two nights we were there. 2. The walls were in a bad shape: a. They don't look like they had ever been cleaned since our last visit [ Sep 2022 ] b. There were marks on all the walls. 3. The toilet paper roll holder broke with the 1st Use. 4. Someone had smashed a hole into the bathroom Door. 5. We had booked this room specifically to use the Jacuzzi Tub. It itself had issues: a. It needed a thorough cleaning b. The Fixtures looked tarnished. We expected polished chrome and/or brass, we got tarnished [not polished] copper/brass. c. When used as a shower would not drain properly d. When used as tub, would not fill as the water kept draining. 6. There were what appeared to be cigarette burns on the Coffee Table. 7. Supplies of toiletries/etc was lacking or non-existent: a. No Hand Soap b. No Shampoo c. No Facial Tissues d. No Extra Toilet Paper e. No Ironing Board -- there was an iron, but no board. I called the office to ask for one, They had none. f. No Coffee Maker and/or Kettle. g. No Extra Blanket(s). As indicated above, it dropped to single digits the two nights we were there. 8. The Feed Cable [ power, drain, etc ] for the Heat Pump going outside was not properly sealed. You could see light in the hole. 9. There were paint 'splotches' all over. On the floors, in the Tub area. 10. There appeared to significant water damage to the floor at the entrance. 11. This unit is on the 2nd Floor, with an out-door staircase. This staircase had no light. It as was therefore dangerous to try to climb or descend at night. 12. Vanity Light had only 1 bulb.
