Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bedrooms are upstairs and 1 bathroom on the main floor. It was fine for us but narrow stairs could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues.
Location was great - only a 10-15 min walk to the main street. Parking available. A sunny very clean modern home. Maria was a great host.

Mattresses in the second bedroom were a bit hard. Could benefit from mattresses toppers.

I disliked the narrow spiral staircase to the second floor where the two bedrooms are located. The stairway curves upward towards a sloping roof, so one has to be careful not to hit one's head on the way up or down. Since there's one bathroom on the main floor, navigating the stairs in the night is tricky even with the motion sensor lighting. We kept the wall light on in the bathroom so we could make our way to the bathroom at night. The kitchen doesn't have a stove, there's a hotplate and toaster oven and a small fridge (not full sized). These aren't deal-breakers, but I was surprised to realize the kitchen limitations when I got there. It was a reminder to read the amenity details more closely. The owners were very responsible to our few requests and respectful of our privacy.
Good location close to the main street and Farmer's market on Sunday morning. The unit is an extension to the main home with easy access to the driveway. It is located on a quiet street in a mature area.

In my view it was perfect but maybe a little more crockery would have meant fewer uses if the dishwasher. Altogether an excellent place to stay.
The property was very quiet , in walking distance of the town and was spotless. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

The beds and bedding were very comfortable and the apartment was very clean. We really enjoyed the sitting room in the evenings after long days of touring the region. The space was very private, which we also appreciated.

looked just like the pictures! was super close to downtown, we walked most places! we had a fire in the fire pit and were able to cook small meals :) the place was insanely clean and the bed was very comfy. the sunroom is just glorious. Maria was super responsive to messages as well.

The stairs leading to second floor are steep and dark. A nightlight for the stairs would be helpful.

There was nothing we disliked.
Maria greeted us upon arrival. House was immaculately clean. The house and neighbourhood is very quiet and private. The living space decor and natural lighting are excellent. It takes 5 mins to walk to the main street with restaurants and shops.

We chose Sunroom on Maple as it was centrally located and it met our expectations. Maria also met me on arrival and was very helpful. The property was spotless and extremely comfortable.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.
The apartment is comfortable, spacious and well equipped. It' in a great location in walking distance of downtown Picton.The hosts live on the property so are easily available if needed.

One of the queen beds was rather noisy! We have a young infant and every time we moved we all woke up! Haha! Other than that, it’s all very comfortable.
The sunroom was super cute. Everything felt very cozy and just like we were at home. Everything was super clean and Maria was a great host and very accommodating!
