Our room was advertised as being an "ocean view"... this is a bit if an exaggeration (yes, the ocean was visible in the distance from the bathroom window)... but not too big of a deal. The in-room AC units are quite loud, and there was noise from the hallway or outside that was quite constant.

Loved the independent feel of this hotel. The suite was spacious and the bed super comfortable. The drive to the location (about 35 minutes outside of St Johns) is gorgeous.

Pillows are awful. The bedding is thin and needs to be updated. The arm chair in the room was very dirty and needed to be steam cleaned.

Easier access to re-entry to the motel so i did not have to disturb anyone to get back in, again i felt bad for having to awaken the owner as the key to the side door was not working for me.

Did not have breakfast and was not aware it was available. I was misinformed by booking.com that this motel was 5 minutes from St.John's Airport, when it is actually 45 minutes away. Was not what i wanted. The room was clean and comfortable. The reception was a young man Bradley, was very polite and gave me a side door key as my room was right beside the door for easier access, however, in the morning i took my coffee outside to sit on the stoop and enjoy the fresh air for a bit but could not get back into the motel and had to wake up the owner to get back into the motel as i could not get the key to work. So sorry to disturb you. Front reception does not open until 10 and i was up about 7:15 so i waited until about 8 to call about being stuck outside. Felt bad about waking the owner but was still in my pj's and needed to get packed etc to get back on the road to continue on to Gander and my next motel.

Wobbly toilet that gets clogged easily and staff seemed to blame us for it saying they don't have any plumbing issues at the hotel. No laundry facilities, no on site breakfast or food.

The bed was not firm enough for two people. The sheets were not cotton. They were a synthetic or polyester that does not breathe. There was cat or dog hair getting on my clothes.

Everything was great! The customer service was perfect.....kind, very friendly and helpful. I loved that I could back my car right to the outside door. It made loading and unloading so easy! Everything was also very clean. It was perfect!

My wife and I recently traveled from Ontario to Newfoundland in an electric vehicle, staying at economy motels such as yours, along the way. We were rather disappointed that no economy motels provided overnight EV charging. I would highly recommend that economy motel owners consider installing Level 2 240 volt EV chargers of approximately 30-40 amp capacity connected to a network such as FLO or Chargepoint. The network would collect the cost through their network RFID card or app to compensate the motel owner. A reasonable charge of about $1.50/hr. would be much more attractive to me, then staying at a luxury motel and paying $50 to $100 more per night and receiving “free” charging for approximately $10 worth of EV charging.

A man screaming and banging on doors at 1am. It made me feel very not safe for about an hour or more. I know the staff delt with it. But I wouldn't ever go back.

The Pub was great! Staff genuinely cares and were very friendly! Great location, Tim Hortons right across the street, restaurants near by, Bowling Alley with Arcade and golf simulators nearby.
