This was our best stay at a Super 8 by Wyndham. We have stayed at Super 8 locations across various states in the U.S., but this experience in Canmore was truly exceptional. It felt more like a 4-star hotel than a budget-friendly stay. The room, furniture, kitchenette, bathroom, breakfast area, and reception all looked new and luxurious. The location was especially breathtaking, with mountain views visible from both the front and back of the hotel and even from our room window. At first, we were concerned about the nearby rail tracks next to the parking lot at safely distanced but we didn’t hear any train sounds or whistles during our stay. In fact, watching a train pass by from the lot turned out to be a charming sight. The hotel’s location makes it a perfect base for exploring the area. The staff both the lady and gentleman at the front desk, as well as the room service team were kind, attentive, and helpful whenever needed. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a wide variety of options: hard-boiled eggs, spinach egg cakes, muffins, waffles, breads, spiced baked potatoes, yogurt, and more. While some items like beef weren’t part of our diet, we were still delighted by the generous and thoughtful spread. Overall, we were super impressed and would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone visiting Banff or Canmore. Banff is 15-20 minutes drive from this location. The surrounding mountains makes it unique place to stay and explore around.

TaiwanThe only tiny drawback is the hotel near the railway. If you are tired enough to fall asleep, it should be not an issue.
The breakfast is delicious. The hotel is located in Canmore downtown. Therefore, it can be easy to find restaurant, supermarket as well as supplies what you need.
