We were confused by the check in procedure-had difficulty accessing room. Also room was not comfortable for relaxation.

We enjoyed the pool and hot tubs.

I didn’t not realize that it was not really a hotel but suite provided by the private host. I had to do garbage/recycling myself, bother the host for the coffee refills as I brought cartridges for extra coffee but coffee machine was simple needed regular coffee and filters, so I just had to walk to the grocery store one morning because there was no coffee. My family likes watching movies at night but there was no smart TV and we couldn’t connect our phones or see any apps like Netflix or YouTube. DVD player that was in the room with instructions and some DVDs didn’t work as the host told us when we contacted them after couple of unsuccessful attempts to play DVD (what the point of having not working DVD player with instructions in the room, not sure). We forgot to place a receipt for paid parking on a dashboard ($26 additional per night) right away and got parking ticket 1 hour after we parked the car in the garage which was waved after we found it hidden in the front of the car (were driving half day next day not even realizing that we had a ticket) and went to the concierge but still not very convenient. Otherwise location and hot tubs with swimming pool were great.

Location, hot tubs and swimming pool are nice

The pool was closed which stunk cause our son really wanted to swim... we ended up going to meadow parks rec centre but it would have been nice to know the pool was under maintenance.

Everything was great, the location and price can't be beat!

The bed was lumpy. We check in at 4pm but have to vacate at 10:30pm . To pay all that money for not even a full 24 hours, denied a late check out. They should give you at least 20-22 hours and the parking should be free

No breakfast was provided. The parking garage is ridiculous to get into and out of. The pool is only open until 10pm, and it should be open to adults only until midnight.

I love the Aspens and have stayed there before, however this apartment had a broken Fawcett the fan/air conditioner looked disgustingly dirty and it didn’t have basics such as salt and pepper, just empty containers. Also didn’t get my code or check in details until after 4pm had to chase them. Disappointing…

The apartment was run down looking with some things like blinds broken. The parking was expensive at $25 a night.

Great location just above Whistler village although it was a 20 minute walk to the village. It was pretty close to the Blackcomb gondola and other chairlifts. It had a small but functional kitchen which worked well for us.

Bed sheets were not comfortable. Bathroom towel rack was falling off the wall and the living room table was wobbly/broken. Didn't know what dishes they had before arrival, so I brought my own.

Great Location. Friendly Staff. Plenty of parking. Allowed for us to park all day on the arrival day and departure day for the same day rate. Took the pressure off and made it much more enjoyable. Nice that there was a glove dryer in the closet. Nice that it had dishes. Amazing that there was a rental place in the residence where you could buy gloves and rent equipment and demo skis.

We are a couple with an adult son who works in Blackcomb. This place was ideal for the 3 of us. Large one bedroom apartment with good sized sofa bed, well equipped kitchenette ski in/ out, hot tubs on site, easy ski/ walk to Blackcomb shops/pubs and gondola

The 2 most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept on, general uncleanliness of the unit. No basics to use to cook meals, poorly stocked kitchen, bathroom shower curtain fell on my friend in the middle of the shower, and to top it all off, we couldnt get a hold of the owner after i messaged, tried calling and texting. The unit had an unbearably strong curry smell the second you walked into the unit. We had to keep all the windows open to air it out. I can't believe how much we paid for this experience. Would not stay here again or recommend.

    Nothing.

Room 333 in terrible conditions. Very dirty. Balcony floor horrible, dirty carpet. TV in the room doesn’t work, no remote control. Fireplace doesn’t work at all, cabinets of the kitchen damaged, toster damaged. Bad quality furniture. I have got in contact with the company that rented to me to solve TV and fireplace since yesterday and no response yet to solve the problems. I asked to give my money back and I would leave this apartment and he never answered back. The worst experience ever in my life renting an apartment.

unit is not well equipped for a kitchen unit- no basic supplies (cooking oil, coffee …) few dishes ( glasses cups) so breakfast in wasn’t a reality, even though we bought groceries. Dishwashers had not been emptied, unit wasn’t very clean especially the shower ( black caulking ) fireplace wouldn’t turn on, sofa bed was very uncomfortable

location was great. Building staff were lovely BUT this was a privately owned and managed unit so the staff were not able to assist for any concerns.

The unit No. 333 at 4800 Spearhead Drive was in poor condition and very disappointing.
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • One-Bedroom Apartment
    • Stayed 1 night

The unit was in poor condition. This was not clear in the photos when we booked it. I had received approval that we could check in between 3:00 and 4:00. The property manager told us that this was actually not confirmed (I have email confirmation) but to go ahead and take a look, and that it should be ready. We went to the unit (he had sent the codes, etc.) and at 3:15 it was not cleaned. The new cleaners apparently went in at 3:30. I don't believe for a second that they cleaned it adequately in a half hour. Furthermore, several issues with the maintenance of this unit. The small entry closet was stuffed full of supplies and an ironing board so we had nowhere to store coats or shoes other than the bedroom closet. The closet was also poorly fitted and didn't close properly. Missing light in the bathroom, dirty showerhead, moldy shower tiles. Easy to lock yourself in the bathroom as the lock was sticky and hard to unlock. Kitchen fridge didn't keep food very cold. Only one kitchen knife for cutting food. Coffee table was very rickety. Vertical blinds broken, some were missing, and a little note was placed on the wall telling us not to pull the blinds open too much. Therefore, no actual privacy and in the morning the unit was full of light. Patio door does not lock, the lock is broken. Patio area full of dust and debris and not swept or cleaned. Outdoor chairs filthy. I had to remove and rinse the fitted sheet on the bed as my daughter spilled a few drops of juice on them, and the underlying mattress cover was FILTHY. The bedroom window can't be opened without removing a dirty bent screen. The entire suite was way to hot at night, the thermostat said it was set for 19.5 but it was 26 degrees and no way to cool it down. We have been coming up to Whistler for several years and have never encountered such a poorly maintained suite. We are not picky, we have young kids and aren't expecting anything exceptional, but this was an appalling experience.

Location of the Aspens is lovely. Easy access to walking trails. Lobby and pool area were nice.
