The bed pillows were a bit hard and over large

We reserved a king suite overlooking the pool at the rear of the property. It was really really quiet. Had all the facilities we wanted. Shower was excellent with a proper deep bath. Check in and out was simple. Swimming pool was lovely. Beside it if you want to use it there are BBQ facilities and a large shady table on first come basis but great for a family party by the pool. It has an excellent restaurant with very different untypical North American types of food which was both good value, lovely flavours and not mega huge quantities either.

The room was large and open. Comfy and private. The fulll kitchen was very nice. Was a great stay for my child's Birthday. The pool, hot tub, and BBQ area were fantastic. Staff was helpful and polite. Nice trip and stay!

The rooms are large and clean. I loved the separate bed and sitting area in the king suite. Temperature control worked perfectly and it was quiet, which is essential when it gets hot in the Vernon area.

Beds were a little firm for me. As a smoker it was a bit inconvenient that we couldn't smoke on the balcony.

The room is very big and conform. good for family. There is alos a kitchen in the room so that you can cook if you want. They have all the kitchen set in the room.

Rooms were not soundproof. On first floor, which was up one level from ground floor, we heard noises from above late into the night.

Full size kitchen had the necessary items for our drink prep and keeping our food cold in fridge. Ice was obtained from a fridge downstairs. Room was large, with beds, bath, kitchen with table, and living area with couch and chairs. Lake view from balcony and a nice place to sit. Parking spaces were narrow. Rear parking was up a very steep grade. I think there was a separate parking area for large vehicles.

The suite was well appointed- kitchen dishwasher, Kettle,full sized fridge& stove. One could easily live there. Nice big balcony. Stocked with very clean quality items in both kitchen & bathroom linens etc. Only downside was being on the lower front end level- too far from the pool & although the lake view was appreciated, the highway traffic noise kind of ruined it.

It's a bit tricky to figure out the lobby access but as I hadn't looked at the map when doing so, that's totally my fault so in the big picture, there isn't anything I didn't like.

The Castle is situated close to Vernon which I liked as you're only 10 minutes from there but out of the fray. It is immediately above the highway so I was very happy to be in a room not overlooking that as I'm definitely not used to traffic noise. My room was excellent with everything I needed and having the pool and hot tub there was a treat. There is a great store virtually right across the highway for all your grocery needs, a selection of take out meals, gifts, garden ware and plants as well. Super handy as I arrived after a long drive and at 5:30 did not want to go much further so went over there to get something for dinner. Landed up going back the next day as well to have a really proper look round and got some delicious fresh cherries and raspberries amongst other gift items. Had dinner at the Intermezzo Restaurant one night and thoroughly enjoyed the prawn, red pepper, asparagus and spinach in a light saffron sauce on linguine. I would highly recommend a stay here and will definitively be back. Thanks to all the staff.

It is on the highway so there is a lot of road noise when on the patio but the room is well insulated from it. The view compensated for the road noise.

The mattresses and pillows were not very comfortable.

We loved the suite very spacious. Was very clean The kids loved the pool outside. We also loved how quiet it was outside sitting on the balcony. You can hear a lot of birds. Lots of trees surround the castle.
