We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

CanadaThe house initially smelled like someone was smoking there, but we were able to air it out. The back garden would deserve some work to make it nicer, but we still enjoyed the BBQ (until the mosquitoes came to visit us, haha)
Great central location, old house with character, spacious and clean. Great to have two bathrooms as well as the washer/dryer. Comfy beds and nice decor.

The house was in a fantastic location right downtown Revelstoke, which is walkable to all the shops and restaurants. It was a 10 min drive to the ski hill. House had all of the items you would need to stay long periods, clean, comfortable, and decorated beautifully! This place is pet friendly as well, which was awesome!

AustraliaThe property should be rated 2 or 3 star not 4. Although surface cleaned the beds are raised on an odd wooden platform and there isn’t a vacuum cleaner long enough to clean underneath it, it’s full of dust, the washing machine had dog hair in it and the rest of the house was tired, it’s a home handy man’s renovation and the upstairs toilet is stained, the leather couches torn and worn out as is the rug.Nice pictures on the wall doesn’t make it 4 star.

AustraliaBathroom has been renovated but the bath has been removed. Meanwhile the kitchen has had no improvements and the cupboards are clunky, no dishwasher and generally poorly equipped The gas fire heater control was broken a year ago and is still broken!
