The stairs are quite tricky with suitcases (maybe we’re just old and decrepit) we had help with the cases which was good but it seemed a long way up to our room even without cases

A beautiful old house, very nicely restored and very comfortable

We only found out that the hotel had no lift just a day or two before we arrived. We would normally look after our own cases but we needed to ask for assistance which the staff were happy to provide.

Staff were excellent and the room was good. The location suited us very well.

I would have liked to have known where the parking was before I parked in a city lot because I couldn’t find any where to park.

The room was nice and the was very good with amazing atmosphere. All of the staff were very helpful with good personalities.

A long climb up to the third floor with suitcases and no elevator.

Great location in downtown Halifax near the waterfront. Easy parking on site. Comfortable bed.

Our bathroom had a “funky”smell even though it was very clean.

We liked how close The Halliburton is to everything as we did not have a vehicle. The place was clean, staff extremely helpful, and there are various patios for guests to enjoy.

When they say the room is "petite" they really mean it! It was fine but we had a lot of luggage and it was a bit of a squish.

It feels homey . As a solo traveller it is nice to come back decompress in a sitting area . If you want privacy there are so many nooks and crannies even an outdoor deck . Free parking!!!!! It is located walking distance to the waterfront and museum of immigration ( worth a visit) . Breakfast for 15 dollars is a choice - the yogurt is excellent. Room is beautiful. Nice that it is not a chain owned by a local - lovely boutique hotel .

There were some spots in the room that weren't super clean. Large hand print on mirror, coffee stains on desk etc, but overall, nothing major.

We love the comfortable beds and beautiful facilities. Staff are so friendly. We were surprised with a champagne in our room im assuming as return guests.
