The bistro closed relatively early, we were hoping there would be a bar open at least but we had to go downtown if we wanted a late drink before bed.

The view was great, we really enjoyed the patio. We shared the room with another couple but it was spacious enough that we were not bumping into each other. It was a 15-20 min walk to the downtown, so still very close. The bistro was great for breakfast. Silver was our server and he was very friendly. They had a Ukrainian flag up front, and, being a Ukrainian myself, I appreciate the support.

It worked fine for us but location away from town and highway noise makes the value questionable.

The room has no closet, which is fine. But then it would be helpful to have wall hooks everywhere to hang things. The room lighting is insufficient, no central lighting, and floor lamps insufficient. Highway noise is unfortunate for such a lovely place.

Electric bikes to borrow, hot tub with view, nice restaurant. Helpful, friendly staff.

Nothing. Liked being out of busy town but walked or drove a couple min and easily parked at edge of Banff. Perfect

Native plantings tended by staff, charming architectural not bougie just old enough to be authentic. Not pristine which we loved. Unbelievable views when we upgraded to other side of the hall. Also best restaurant and views. Hot tub!!!

We absolutely loved our stay! The views of the mountains are unreal! The room was cozy and clean, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the on-site bistro served some of the best food we had on our trip. Peaceful location just minutes from downtown. Can’t wait to come back!

    Nothing. It was perfect

The location was perfect! Just a short mile walk from downtown. No need to bring walking poles, bear spray etc. the Jiniper has you covered for all your hikes. Although we didn’t use them, e-bikes are available complimentary. Staff was great and restaurant was excellent with incredible Mountain views. Hot tub was great after a day of hiking

The town was very busy when we got there and no parking, so glad the hotel was outside the town across the river. Actually the property was just perfect

The view was outstanding and just perfect! The hot tub was right next to our room. The Bistro was excellent and the wait staff friendly and very attentive. The front desk was so helpful, Caroline booked our tours and got us everywhere we wanted to go, saved us time and money. It was busy there (August summer travelers) but she was able to book several sightseeing tours. All in all it was wonderful.

    Nothing! (Except the price.)

This was my fourth time staying at the Juniper. The price is steep (and keeps going up), but it's worth it for the view, the comfort of the rooms, the wonderful restaurant, the hot tub, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, and the extra perks, such as being able to borrow hiking poles and bear spray.

The balcony rooms have a big wooden board across the balcony so when you sit on the chairs the view is blocked! It was crazy. Definitely get a ground floor room!!

Room and restaurant were great. Liked the outdoor hot tub. Views were wonderful from the property and our room.

Our room had a broken curtain rod that made it hard to slide and cover our windows. Also the outlet near the beds were hidden behind the bed frame so plugging in our chargers for our phone made it inaccessible. All just minor inconveniences.

The property was easily accessible off the highway and away from the downtown center. We never had issue with finding parking and the parking were near our room so it wasn’t that far of a walk. We also love that the bistro was a few rooms down and it didn’t seem too noisy even if we were next to the highway. We had amazing weather during our state so we enjoyed the balcony area with access to lounge chairs to watch the sunset over Banff.

Beautiful Mountain View’s; friendly staff, including Hudson at the front desk who deserves a special shout out.

The room was nice, the location was excellent, just outside the crowded town of Banff, and the use of free e-bikes (3 hrs) was a real plus and made getting to town by avoiding traffic a breeze.
