Location and decor Breakfast was good. We

No real staff on premises to assist you except between 4 and 6 pm at check in. In our case the desk staff was gone by 5:30. It seems the property would benefits from more consistent attention. Several items,eg curtain rides and closing mechanisms and towel holder bars in bathroom need repair.

It was easy to enter code and find room after hours. I appreciated seeing the bottles of water in the refrigerator (I drank one of them). Beautiful view of water from living room. Liked the coffee machine. Reasonably easy to use.

A bit pricey

The Inn was in a very great location, very quiet and great parking options! We loved the breakfast as well as the staff. They were just very warm and professional.

The Library room’s bathtub needs some renovation. The water gets clogged up for a shower even before you can get in (less than 15 seconds after you turn on the water), so you’re standing in at least ankle deep water the whole time. The whole Inn has a great idea for its decor, but details needs to be maintained properly so it is up to par with its concept.

Charming inn with a cozy and initimate vibe. Amit was a welcoming and knowledgable host taking care to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. The breakfast was amazing and the lounge was a lovely setting to relax after a long day of site seeing at nearby Butchart Gardens.

Loved the history of the inn. The architecture was so beautiful. The room was very large and beautifully decorated. I stayed in the Governor's suite. Each window looked out onto an ocean view or garden view. The stairwell, which was beautiful, took me to the lovely dining room where I was served the most wonderful breakfast, which was included in the price! I was first able to taste the most delicious blueberry muffin, which they make from scratch. The menu gave a lovely choice of waffles, eggs Benny, two ways, bacon and eggs, or bagel with yogurt and fresh fruit. I chose bacon and eggs. Two poached eggs, two bacon, choice of toast (sourdough for me), and fresh fruit compote. A choice of juices and coffee or tea. 5-star absolutely. Upstairs, there was a sitting room that was breathtaking. The design was one of a kind for sure. The large windows looked across to the ocean. There is a charming little walkway out back of inn that takes you to a garden. The day was rainy, so I didn't get to really enjoy its full beauty. First and foremost, the staff are wonderful. Excellent hospitality given by all. This would be a wonderful place for a honeymoon couple or if you were celebrating an anniversary. I loved my stay here and would definitely come stay again. 5 star all the way! Thank you to The Latch Inn for a beautiful stay.

Absolutely nothing!

Unique property, so charming and homey

Beautiful 100 year old building near harbor. 10 minutes from ferry. Comfy bed, great soaker tub and shower. Gas fireplace in room. Antique. By marina and waterfront so good views. Excellent breakfast. Overall great experience in antique setting.

Slight old wood smell. Worth it!

The Latch Inn was located in a quiet area overlooking the marina. The Inn and the grounds were very well kept. Inside the Inn had a lot of character and charm. We were very impressed.

There wasn’t anything not to like. It was perfect!

Exterior seemed completely unaddressed.Perhaps the season was just getting started. Forlorn, flower, pots, and no exterior seating set up The interior was fine that could be exceptional with a little tweaking
