We didn't stay longer. The room and bathroom we had were a little small for a long stay

The Lighthouse is an magical place that you'll never want to leave. Each room has it's own theme and the owners paid attention to even the smallest of details. The towels were plush and better than most hotels. The property is on a lake and they've added a fire pit, lights, music, beach towels, bug spray and ice anytime you need. There are 2 floating chairs in the lake by the dock for you to sit in and relax. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The owners have created a piece of paradise in a great area.

The only small downside was the bed it was too soft for our liking but that's personal preference.

Everything else! The location was great, the garden, fire place, and the pier for swimming was absolutely fabulous. That you could have done a boat tour from there directly was a nice bonus. The list of recommendations was fabulous too. The owner and staff were super friendly and always happy to have a chat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again. It was a lovely getaway and the perfect location to end our Novia Scotia trip there.

Our room was A+++ Beautifully decorated in a nautical theme! Had lots of extras, pictures,ornaments. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Really comfortable beds with good quality bedding. Good lightening,mirrors,great furniture and all the little extras that one doesn't usually get. Kitchen area was very clean and everything was of the highest quality. It was wonderful waking up to such a great setting, going for a walk down the floating dock and looking out for the seals etc. Easy parking. Pet friendly. Set in a most beautiful area Lunenburg just outside Bridgewater.N.S

This is the cutest, cozy and well done stay we’ve had in years. Do not miss staying here. Rooms are so well designed, themes are tasteful, and attention to details are fantastic (chilled water in our fridge, fun ice cubes in the freezer). The property is to die for, private, beautiful and would make a fantastic company retreat or wedding venue. Location is close to all amenities, some great restaurants (loved the River Pub and Fancy Pants Cafe). Weather wasn’t the greatest during our stay but the room was so well appointed we were happy to spend time there. Next time we’re in Bridgewater we will be back!

It was a little disappointed as the docks were pulled from the water for winter prep

First of all the facility was Dog friendly, that was a bonus plus for staying there, recommend booking the Boathouse right on the water, as you look out your bedroom window
