Accommodations were great and everything you need or want in a room for a couple nights stay. Very peaceful and quiet. Breakfasts were excellent and very delicious and very generous portions. Leslie and Bob were very gracious and helpful hosts.

The Hosts are lovely and truly wanted to ensure our stay and visit in the region was memorable. They provided recommendations on sites we should visit and restaurants. The BnB has beautiful grounds which we took advantage of and also really enjoyed the pool which was well maintained. The rooms are lovely and the beds are oh so comfortable. Breakfasts were gourmet and Leslie was very accommodating of any special requests.

We liked everything.

Exception breakfast. Leslie is a chef by excellence. The food was simply amazing. Her recommendatiins for places to eat was great and did not disapoint. She also recommended a really great chocolate shop and olive oil place both exceptional. We took home some great items from the shops. Bob and Leslie are extremely attentive to small details that made us feel welcomed.

We loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back.

The rooms were luxurious, clean, decorated so uniquely with comfortable king size bed and linens, amazing breakfast sourced from all local growers, welcoming and interesting hosts who gave recommendations for things to do in the area, interesting grounds to explore, warm and inviting. The chalet outside of the house was nice and toasty and gave us a chance to visit with the hosts and others who were staying in The Walnut Grove. Great value for the money and i can't wait to see the grounds in the summertime!

There was nothing we didn’t like, we had everything we needed plus more.

A lovely rustic farmhouse with all the modern amenities you want. The beds were so comfortable, the koi pond seating area is so lovely to have a glass of wine by. The pool was heated to perfection with plenty of chairs for lounging. The pathway through the meadow was lovely for an after breakfast walk. The food Bob and Lesley prepared was all home baked with locally grown and/or sourced ingredients and were better than any restaurant breakfast I’ve had. We skipped lunch each day because we were so full from breakfast. Be sure to check out the Walnut Grove website as there are add-one’s you can opt for including dinners hosted in one the on site rustic barns.

Since it was a bit on the rainy side, we couldn't explore the walnut forest or the fields that house the honeybees as much as we would have liked - NEXT TIME we'll do more of that AND have time enjoy the hot tub.

So much more than a bed and breakfast! The renovated house has so much history and character. The B & B owners are superb hosts. The breakfasts were exceptional, featuring their own maple and walnut syrups and fresh spring produce, meat and eggs from local farms...and fantastic coffee! The other couples, young and old, were extremely interesting and the table was alive with conversation covering topics about which all six of us were excited. Our room was wonderful, down to the last detail! We wished that we had been able to spend some down time there! On our next visit to Walnut Grove, the agenda will be to just kick back and enjoy the luxury of country life that is at our fingertips! Thank you, Bob and Leslie!

Other people staying there. Their coming and going upset our dogs, but other than that, everything was vey good. My wife loved the pool.

Breakfast was (just)okay.. Not a fan of asparagus frittata ... loved the yogurt and fruit with homemade scones.. ..Missed potatoes and (local) tomatoes tho. Being in wine country, I was hoping for a mimosa in the morning. ;)

The grounds were beautiful and expansive with meadows, ponds, trails and lots of birds! :) Loved the hot tub and swimming pool and fire table by the koi pond. The bed was amazing. The towels nice - spa like! The room was gorgeous (into the Woods) Very spacious and beautifully decorated. Bob and Lesley were fabulous hosts - so accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. booked another stay in July.
