Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyI'd say, the hotel has seen better days. Some furniture, walls or equipment would need a fresh up, dishwasher not working etc. There is almost no dishes in the kitchen. You can ask, and staff is always helpful, but still limited. Seems no one really cooks there ;). The balcony is not equipped at all and full of "leftovers" from the birds, not been cleaned during the stay and plenty dead mosquito in the corners inside. So overall there is no issue with cleanliness and fine to stay, but it's not the 100% you expect.
The best is the location just right at the shore and small harbour and park areas, overlooking the sea. Great for evening strolls or if you want to go running. Moreover in walking distance to diverse restaurants, shops and GO station to Toronto or the other direction to Niagara. The appartment has a very good layout, sofa and is open and light with huge window to the balcony.

CuraçaoWe had to make our son's bed ourselves. I always find this strange in a hotel, but it's happened to us before. Maybe it's common practice? The lady who brought the bedding hadn't brought any pillows for the bed, and there weren't any either. Only the bedding. She said she would bring them the next day, but we needed them right away for the night. After insisting, she brought one for us anyway. We'd put a sign on the door saying we didn't want anyone in the apartment, but they went in anyway. When we booked our stay, there were still pictures of a restaurant. But that restaurant no longer exists. The pictures have since disappeared, too. I thought that was a shame. So, no breakfast. We couldn't really use the kitchen in our unit. There were no pans or a kettle in the unit. All the available dishes were still in the dishwasher.
We stayed in a spacious one-bedroom apartment with a sofa bed for our son. There was also a washing machine in our apartment, which was very convenient. The hotel is located near a train station with direct connections to downtown Toronto. There are many restaurants nearby, and the harbor view was beautiful. Paid parking was available right next to the hotel.

CanadaWould have been nice to have a restaurant or coffee bar on site.
Near the lake and walkways along the lake and river, lots of restaurants close by, large room and balcony overlooking the lake. Not right by the airport but certainly close enough, quiet, friendly staff and comfortable.

CanadaParking not included in the already high price and the $1000 or $500 hold on the credit card seems high. Also, we have stayed here many times, and on this occasion we were in the smallest room yet (only one bed-side table, very few dishes). It would be nice to have chairs on the balcony and twice the cleaning staff came in before 8:30 (while we were still there; and this is rather early to get up while we are on vacation).

CanadaDisappointed that there were no chairs on the balcony. There was an issue with the toilet - water was running in it constantly which meant that it kept refilling every 7-10 minutes. It woke me up a few times in the night.
Excellent location - walkable to many restaurants. Comfortable bed. Clean.

CanadaToo bad that breakfast is not available in hotel. Restaurant also closed but many alternatives nearby. Room did not have a table or desk. Terrible pillows. The traffic around Toronto is terrible......construction everywhere including Port Credit.

CanadaRooms are a bit outdated and beds definitely need to be upgraded they are very creaky and springy and not the best sleep I’ve had in a hotel. The room also had quite an “old” smell to it. I did want to note that we stayed during a snow storm and I understand it’s hard for everyone but around the property was not cleaned and no salt put down which was disappointing since they make you park off the property in a different lot and it was extremely difficult to get back to the car with no snow maintenance done.
I’ve always enjoyed this hotel it’s very nice, great location for places to walk and get food etc. rooms are always a good size. More of a quiet hotel since a lot of the guests live there so it’s never too loud. Balcony’s are always directed to a beautiful view.

CanadaI was not aware of parking fee of $15 per night before my stay.
My room had a balcony and a great view of the Toronto skyline. Close to many restaurants, Lake Ontario and a 5 minute walk to the Go train (public transit into downtown Toronto). Extra bonus of fridge, stove, washing machine/dryer and dishwasher plus microwave. Staff were friendly and helpful.
