Staying on second floor of a decrepit room that requires repair: a cracked window the length of the window was taped and needed replacing, the ceiling fan in bathroom was hanging out and not working, the sink tap dripped and the bathtub was stained and appeared dirty. Mould is growing behind the toilet. The bed mattress is worn out and lop sided. The bed linens had previous stains/burn marks and the carpet had numerous stains and smelled. Although there was coffee offered in the am, there was not muffins or continental breakfast as mentioned. The wifii has weak security and went offline throughout the majority of my stay.

Clean towels. A fridge. Air conditioning. Friendly staff. Cheapest room in town. Pet deposit was waived because I ‘looked like a good person.’

As with SO MANY of these older motels, it quickly becomes obvious that owners/managers have little desire to invest modest money updating drapes, carpets, or bed coverings. What's worse - and I've stayed in many places like this over the last 10 years - is that a room is declared Non-Smoking (keeping up with what is now in vogue), but as soon as you open the door to your room, stale smoke and years of neglect remain in the stale old carpet. Why not spend $50 / room once every year or two on a steam cleaning service? Your patrons will thank you, and you may even be able to bump your nightly rate slightly to cover it. Unfortunately, another sore spot with my room (again, like so many rooms in this market tier) is how bathrooms are maintained, and also, in my case that evening, how unclean the tub was. I had looked forward to a soothing bath after a long day in the saddle, but when I inspected the bathroom, I realized I'd only be comfortable with a shower instead.

- Room has a horrible smell that we couldn’t get rid of with air freshener. - Non smoking room smelt like it had been smoked in for decades/ smelt of stale smoke. - Coffee pot was filthy. - Curtains covered the air conditioner so you either had to leave them open or turn off the aircon. - Room was very stuffy and humid even with the aircon on and only being 27degrees outside. - No power points around the room available for charging. Needed to unplug the lamp or TV.

The room smelled like drugs when I walked in. The sink was full of some liquid. The room was dirty, not untidy. Some sort of wrappers on the floor. Very dirty.

The location was handy and the Woman who checked me in was very nice. The shower was hot. That's where the good ends.

Old pillows, carpets and chairs are not clean, does not look vacuumed, aircon is loud - I wish there is an alternative for the hot summer like a fan.

Room smelled musty and of old smoke. Bathroom had mould around toilet and tub. My bed was worn out, high in the middle leaning to the outside. There was a small fridge, a microwave and a small old TV. 2 plastic cups, no bottled water, no coffee pot. Walls needed painting badly. Carpet was worn out and stained. Overall, one of the most disgusting rooms I have ever seen!

Dry cereal, no milk to be found. No fruit, no yogurt, no pastry. Toaster with no bread to be found. The worse continental that I have ever seen
