Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We were on ground floor so didn’t want to keep the window open so room got hot during the night.
It was nice and big especially the bathroom and clean. Able to back up right at the door so easy access.

The yard and RV park area is unkempt - not mowed, very untidy. Gigantic potholes at the entrance of the motel/RV park.
The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Coffee and tea provided in the room. Tiny refrigerator.

Although the property was large and had alot of green-space to walk our dogs, the grounds were definitely in need of more attention and maintenance. I hate to comment some negative aspects but hopefully this is considered just some constructive criticism.... Many of the permanent RV tenants had very unsightly spaces. There was alot of broken glass, garbage, and debris all around the property, particularly around the overflowing (and smelly!) garbage can area. There were partly demolished RVs and other random piles of junk and old building supplies scattered around.
We loved that we were able to take our dog with us! We had a bottom room and it was so convenient to take her out for walks etc. This property isn't perfect but we are easy to please and don't need luxurious amenities....we value clean rooms, attentive & friendly staff and lower prices, which is exactly what the Y-5 gave us! The rooms were clean and the A/C worked great! Staff was very friendly and helpful! The price point was excellent and we would definitely stay there again.

The facility is looking somewhat worn out, but for the price it was okay. There was a bit of an issue on signing in because of a language barrier. I found the person on the phone difficult to understand..
Location was convenient. Facility fulfilled the basics which was good.

Could have used more outlets outlets to plug in the laptop near the kitchen table. WiFi was slow but a typical speed found in most hotels and motels, but at least it worked.
Room was convenient on the ground level, inside was very clean and amenities were upgraded and modern. Had a kitchenette and SS fridge and microwave oven. TV had a reasonable amount of channels. Very quiet location with little traffic. Temperature was comfortable.

If you wanted to cook you would have to be well over 6' to reach the pans! No plug in the sink.
Good location just off the highway. The room was clean and bed was comfortable and there was a little kitchenette to make tea and toast. Also a great fridge freezer. Easy parking right outside my room. I was surprised at how quiet it was considering the location which also had a rail line nearby. Some great food places nearby and I tried the Station House diner on Station Road. Yummy.

Thin walls so we heard the people upstairs including the running water from their shower. Also loud because of the passing trains. Bad WiFi. No blow dryer.
