Rooms are on the second floor and may be inaccessible to physically challenged people.

Quiet waterfront location with breathtaking West views of the islands with 180 degree view from the wrap around deck on the building. The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and the rooms large and clean with 4 post beds. I would like to return and stay longer next time! Comfortable chairs on the deck for the sunset and a gas fireplace to take off the chill.

The bed was terrible. We were told that they were changing the beds but hadn’t got around to room 5 which was where we were staying. In my opinion we were sold a room that was substandard. I would like our money back as we never sleep a wink that night and my wife has now significant shooting pains in her back. She is scheduled to see her doctor as a result.

This property is absolutely beautiful. So peaceful and calm with beautiful views, especially at sunset.the owners were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! The room was very clean and comfortable. I wish we were staying longer.

Didn’t realize it was so many steps up with our baggage! Not a dealbreaker - not hard fo younger folks but we are in 70’s and had just schlepped up and down ferry, so worn out at end of day. And - confusion re name of property. Were we at Ye Olde or Argyler Lodge or ?

On the water, lovely breakfast, good bed, helpful communication from property (ie advice about ferry, nearby supper after hours that was great)

Absolutely nothing....it was truly perfect!

WOW! This place thought of absolutely everything. They had glassware, a refrigerator, exceptional phone charging outlets, a tea kettle, a Nespresso, wonderful toiletries. The atmosphere was so magical. But the best thing of all, was the amazing pre arrival and post arrival communication. They went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of with late arrival, to having food available, to where to visit even after I left. I can't wait to return for a longer visit.

Lovely old style lodge/restaurant right on the water approx 30km out of Yarmouth ns. Friendly staff, lovely dinner,beautiful sunset, well presented room and bathroom.

The Lodge is located in a remote area on Lobster bay. The view of the sunset from the large back porch was amazing. We ate at the on-site restaurant and it was one of our best meals in Nova Scotia during our entire vacation. The room as comfortable with a queen bed. The lighting in the room could have been better. We did not have breakfast, but they offered a full breakfast at 18.00 CAN per person. The staff was friendly and helpful.

cold shower.

the whole place was great, overlooking the bay, great sunset. the dining room was beauriful with windows all over, but we had to take a very cold,i mean cold shiwer in the morning. hopefully it was not done on purpose. otherwise we love the place. the bed was foam mattress and half comfortable.
