“The host was extremely friendly and helpful, which is the most important factor. The property is superb, our favourite place we've ever stayed in. Its immaculate and has everything you need. The interior layout is exceptionally pleasant. The views are fantastic, its at about 1700m. There is convenient covered parking. You can drive up outside winter (roads open in the last ski season), otherwise you can come up by cable car and its just 10 mins downhill walk from there to chalet. In very late ski season when we visited the cable car takes you up to the skiing, and there is a bus if you don't want to walk the 10 mins up to it - we found it very easy to go skiing for a couple of days.”
“Amazing location right next to the gondola/cable car up to Belalp ski area. Blatten is very small with only a handful of facilities but the hotel had what we needed for a short stay.
Nice pool and sauna (with an allocated time for families).

Would definitely recommend this area for a family ski holiday. Not crowded during the school holidays (Fribourg/Valais) and good beginner pistes.”
