We actually had another hotel booked for the night but when we stumbled upon this one, we couldn’t resist staying here instead! 5 stars for customer service, the lady at reception put us up for the night (even though it was short notice) she gave us a choice of rooms which was a very nice touch. The views are incredible and the same can be said about the food (breakfast and dinner) incredibly comfy bed, guaranteed to give you a good night sleep”
“This hotel is a traditional Swiss building that looks a bit old, but in this village most hotels are in the same style. The location is fantastic – right by the lake with an absolutely stunning view. The hotel manager, Hans, is an elderly gentleman who is very kind and lovely. The only downside is that the price is a bit high, but it seems that all hotels in Brienz are like this in August. Overall, it was a wonderful trip and we were very happy with our stay in Brienz.”
