Zernez is lovely and the Hotel Acla Filli was in an ideal location in the small village. I was close to the station, bus stops and National Park Centre. From my balcony ( an unexpected upgrade) I could see (and hear) the neighbouring cows and had great views of the mountains. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful. I agree with my friend who recommended it to me that it was a good choice.

United Kingdomnot much of any note - in fact nothing i can think off. The rooms were obviously not brand new modern but nothing wrong with that. If anything the rooms were overwarm so we slept with windows open
Hotel was good - easy to access and plenty of parking and heat during the winter. Good breakfast too. We didn't get the chance to eat in the restaurant.

Good value for money. Close to the train station. Comfortable beds. Old architecture but spotless clean rooms including shower. Sufficient choice at the breakfast buffet (for a hiker’s breakfast).

SwitzerlandThe breakfast and food served at the restaurant is really average.. but the quality of the staff makes up for it! The rooms are a bit rustic but we had expected that.
The service is incredible. We were there for the Engadiner ski marathon and the people really tried to smooth our stay: special breakfast hour, a special room with a shower and fresh towels for after the race once we had already checked out, food was still served after the kitchen was closed.. incredible!

SwitzerlandReception opens only at 8, which is a bit tight if you take the bus at 8:15, but that's only a minor point. We were happy with our choice.
The hotel has very friendly and attentive staff. We had a room in the house next to the hotel. The room was big and very quiet! It was very convenient to have breakfast already available at 7. If interested, the hotel rents bikes and e-bikes for free. We didn't benefit as we already planned our hiking trips.
