Very cozy Swiss hotel, with wooden interior. Very friendly staff. Clean and conveniently located for hiking near Arolla. Shared showers and toilets were good and clean.

The only downside staff members were not very nice to us (we are American not sure if thats the reason). Overall very nice stay but be prepared.

Place was gorgeous. Located in between to mountains with numerous amounts of views to see. Lots of hiking trails nearby aswell.

The room was very small so my boyfriend had to open his luggage on his bed We asked for a double room and we had two single beds. Be careful, the check-in is only until 6pm or you have to tell them. They didn’t gave us any information about the facilities so maybe we missed some. I think the staff didn’t appreciate we arrived at 9pm instead of 6pm even though we called at 7pm because we realised our mistake

Perfect spot for a long walk to the blue lake and free parking. Good place to stay one night.

Nothing. There's a line outside to hang rainsodden clothes. I found a line inside the building next to the showers so everything dried. Big relief.

It was so warm on the balcony, after col de fenetre it was glorious to have a view and a balcony. Dormitory rooms can be awful, we had heard that any dorm mattress might have fleas. We didn't see any.. Beds were clean & smelled fresh. Shower was great, dinner was tasty. Breakfast was plentyful. It was a great stay.

The rooms had mezzanine accommodation with roofline too low for adults. The owners told us that the booking.com fee did not cover their costs so there was a difficult atmosphere which was resolved after some discussion.

Good locatiion not far off the trail we were walking. Lovely setting in rural switzerland. Food was very good but Swiss expensive

Breakfast should be included considering the price. Restaurant was fine, pizza very good, but prices seemed inflated. Staff were perfectly nice albeit distant and not overly interested. I felt like an unwelcome pest, rather than a guest. It was all fine and functional, just a bit of a weird vibe going on with the staff and oddly business like and transactional. Least favourite place during the trip.

Unique building with bags of character. Short uphill walk to Arolla (get off at La Monta if taking the bus) Peaceful, with nice gardens and surroundings. The room itself was quiet and clean. Hot showers were welcome!

It’s a strange building. The floors are slanted. It is quite expensive for sharing a bathroom with the hall. The housekeeper tried to get us out way before checkout so she could do the laundry.

The breakfast was good. The room is very small and basic but clean.

The room was very cramped. I would have preferred a private bathroom but I did know before arriving that facilities were shared.

It was a little out of town, fortunately I was able to get a lift there otherwise a taxi would have been necessary. I really enjoyed the salad for dinner and the atmosphere in the restaurant was friendly. There was real historic feel about the place. I enjoyed the breakfast - basic but did the job.

No drinking water, specially unacceptable. Also quit cold in the room, and no heating. Lastly, there is no individual bathroom in double room, it’s shared bathroom on the floor.

We got lost looking for the property by following the Google map gps. It brought us further in towards a campsite instead. Just try to remember how it looks like in the photo and you will see it along the route. It’s the only property on this street actually.

Quiet place with very enthusiastic and polite staffs. Not all of them speak English but they try their best to answer our queries. We had the cheese fondue with tomatoes - something unique to the Valais canton - for dinner (strongly recommended by the staff) and it was just fantastic. The dessert was apricot sorbet with apricot liquor, both produced locally, the combination was just perfect. It’s a good place right in the alps with no other disturbance from the surroundings. Very peaceful environment, and near to various hiking trails. There’s towel provided, hot water shower, comfortable beds. It’s an old property but very well maintained, and very clean.
