Nice location, friendly stuff and great restaurant

No problems at all.

Very small hotel just over Balerna station, very close to italian border. The rooms are small but very nice and comfortable, with very useful complimentary bottles of water. Very quiet in the night, very good quality of sleep. Every room have a private bathroom except one….my one. But the bathroom is very close on the corridor, for exclusive use, very clear but small and a little claustrophobic. Breakfast nothing special but staff very very friendly. Overall, a place where come back.

What a wonderful place to stay overnight while traveling. The rooms are lovely, and it's wonderful to have a restaurant on site. The staff is literally ready to give you a fantastic experience. We ate mussels, among other things, and they were deliciously prepared. The various pasta dishes are also highly recommended. Leaving early wasn't a problem either: "We'll prepare a breakfast for you to take with you." To all the staff: "Thank you for your excellent care and service!"

I really had a good time in this place. The location is perfect, right in front of the train station. You can take a 5min train to Mendrisio easily from there. The staff are very friendly. I really liked how helpful the lady I see in the morning during breakfast time. Totally recommend this place.

There wasn't a suitable place to store luggage, since the hotel was closed for a large part of the next day.

It's a nice and cozy place, well located just across the train station in Balerna. Staff is friendly and helpful, they gave me some good tips about the region and public transportation to place where I was going.

It was a bit of a struggle to find somewhere to park but otherwise all good.

A lovely hotel and restaurant, for my son and I to stay at whilst heading back to the UK from southern Italy. The staff were great and the room was spacious and comfortable too. The restaurant was an added bonus, as this was very good.

The bathroom is a little bit small if you are a big guy like me.

Very friendly staff, quick check in. Room was great. Breakfast basic but more than I expected so I was pleasantly surprised! Great value for money given the location being so close to both lakes.

We loved our stay there ! Comfy, relaxed and calm place. The train station is just 3 minutes' walk, it is a perfect location if you wants to visit Como. The hosts are very friendly, and everything is just excellent. Especially thanks for the lady who serving our breakfast during our first 2 days, she is very polite and helpful !

We are used to hotel check in at the front desk, but after a while figured out how to do the get ourselves ton the room after opening hours of the restaurant down below.

The reception and service at breakfast. We felt we were treated like family and enjoyed the meal sitting outside and felt very welcome. We will definitely visit again.

Excellent service. There was a major problem as the hotel was too full, but the staff/owner went out of their way to fix the problem by finding me anther hotel, and reimbursed me 100% (+ new room free of charge). This is great service and you don't see this kind of "care" that often these days, hence why I do recommend this place!
