Location fantastic. lots of restaurants and bar on the lakefront near hotel. Room with balcony was charming.

noisy outside only if the windows are open, which we had done as we had a balcony and wanted to sit at our little table. It is as expected to be on the lively lakefront with restaurants.

Great view of the lake from 2nd floor room. Great location. Super breakfast. Quiet. Air conditioning. Close to bus stop, Coop, boat terminal. Relaxing stay, with opportunity for interesting nearby excursions.

Instructions for how to get to off-site hotel parking were confusing. Parking spaces were very close together, though typical of Swiss parking lots in general. Weather in early July was generally very hot during the day.

Decent breakfast and beautiful view. People were welcoming.

Not enough isolation between the bathroom and the rest of the room. But this is a minor thing, overall very satisfying.

Fantastic as always - great Albergo located directly at the piazza in Ascona. Great staff and the delicious Maggia bread for breakfast is a plus :-)

The location in front of the lake, open parking space literally around the corner from the hotel, The amazing view from the balcony (room with a balcony is a must). Decent breakfast with fresh products

I really appreciated how clean the room was. The bed was comfortable, and the shower head facilitated a wonderful shower experience. But I most thrilled by the fact that the breakfast buffet and restaurant offered gluten-free options - sometimes those are exceedingly hard to find.

I was at first a little disappointed at the small size of the room, given that the images of the room I thought I booked were of a much larger room. But it ended up being ok because the view made up for it all.

My room had windows on 2 sides overlooking the lake and the promenade. It had a small balcony with a table and 2 small chairs overlooking the lake and the mountains. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. It was on the first floor directly above a restaurant terrace at the 'busy' end of the promenade very close to the charming small streets of Ascona. I enjoyed hearing the hustle and bustle outside during the evening and it was quiet at night. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful and there was a choice of juices/bread/croissant/meat/cheese and eggs for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Spotlessly clean, very good food, amazing views and location, and good service.

No restaurant on a Monday ? Decor a bit odd in places.
