The room was small and noisy because it was facing the street. As the hotel is close to the train station, the noise was considerable.

Breakfast was good, the buffet had a good choice of food.

I missed having a fridge in the room. I am happy to drink tap water but prefer it cold, especially as the room was rather warm. I would also have liked either tea/ coffee making facility in the room or perhaps a coffee machine or vending machine for guests at reception. It would be handy for late night drinks.

The location is fantastic. I liked the breakfast buffet in the restaurant. Room was very clean and comfortable.

The television didn't work. And the light is not bright enough at night. If you need a kettle, you need to go downstairs to take it.

It is very near to the station. I live at 4th floor and you can see the castle from the top window. The bed is big and comfortable. The desk and chair in the room are all nice to use. I will choose to stay here again if I come to Bellinzona.

The doors to the rooms did not close quietly… meaning one heard when a guest left their room which was annoying especially late at night.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom with a shower and bidet was excellent. The sauna area open to all hotel guests was decent was I enjoyed using. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful at reception as well as in the restaurant. The location is perfect right in walking distance to the train station, inner city, castles and restaurants and the Ticino River.

The breakfast has a big variety. It’s good but not great. The beds are big but very firm.

The location was perfect directly across from the train station (with a small grocery store) and a very good cafe. The old town and castles are a short walk. The staff were very friendly. We stayed in a suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We had plenty of space for our family of four! The coffee maker in the room was nice as well.

Love the location of this hotel as it is right across the road from the train station and supermarket with cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel also has a restaurant if you prefer to stay in. The breakfast was excellent.

The staff really made us feel welcome and were all very helpful. The waiters were exceptional. It was nice to be across the street from the train station.

Heating/cooling is through a heat pump. That means hotel can be in heating or cooling mode. Hotel chose to be in heating mode. My room was southern facing & very hot & I couldn’t cool it,

The restaurant for breakfast, the waitress there was impolite, we waited at the entrance door for a while but no one came to guide us to a table. After a long waiting, we picked a table ourselves, then a waitress came & said the table has to keep free (while there were plenty of free tables around). We then moved on to another table & I proceeded to get a coffee (self-service coffee machine), needed to grab a coffee cup first but it was empty. Same waitress lady I asked if she can refill the cups, she said one second…, I kept waiting next to the coffee area, but she continued working on her cutlery preparation next to me. A waiter came by & asked how can he help. I told him the same story it’s out of coffee cups, he said he’ll bring some out. Then, the same waitress looked at me again while she did nothing and said all coffee cups are currently washing. At the same time, the nice Waiter returned with a few cups that I can ignore that waitress rudeness & finally got my coffee. The breakfast variety was basic , just they never refilled the scramble eggs even it was a standard breakfast time around 8am (don’t think I was that late).
