We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

SwitzerlandBeing at the main intersection of the small village there was a bit of traffic noise but only early in the morning and early evening. The church bells begin at 7am but do stop at 10pm! We didn't stay in the main hotel building and only had breakfast there on the last day, which was fairly basic. As one of the beds is in the large living room, there was no sofa, but there was a dining table and chairs.
The restaurant attached to the actual building where our apartment was, La Posta, rather than in the original hotel, Belcantone. The food was very good, very friendly and capable staff and very reasonably priced. Worth going there for the restaurant! The two room apartment was spacious, however the kitchen could do with some extra basic items.

NetherlandsFirst of all we were not informed before that there was some kind of street party, so we could not reach the hotel by car, we tried but got stuck in one way traffic streets with only 10cm space left and right of the car... Total lack of communication. So it took us in the end an hour to finally get in the hotel. There was no elevator so we had to carry our luggage to the third floor through small corridor steps. The room was seldom in its simplicity, only beds and that's all. No TV, no safe, no minibar, no table, no airco, nothing... So I would not recommend this one for a longer stay. This was the most disappointing stay (and we have had a lot, already 6 on this travel) in any hotel I can remember.
Honestly, the cappuccino was great, the best we had during our travel. But that was all. The owner was kind, but our stay very disappointing.
