The third floor is a little low to get in. A shared restroom and shower might be takes getting used to although it wasn’t a problem to me.

The staff were lovely and welcoming, the building itself was beautiful and tastefully decorated. The shared bathroom situation was incredibly clean and well done. We also really enjoyed the breakfast (croissant, breads, eggs, meats and cheese, yogurts, cheese, juice, coffees, etc.) and the outdoor seating. Small room but very cozy and we slept great. The price is also comparatively low to other places in the area. Well located with a bus station directly outside and easy walk down to the lake.

This Place is very charming, the staff is very welcoming and warm. The manager/owner loves this place and it shows. Our room was very clean and had a nice view over the lake. The location is great, just a couple of minutes from the lake. I really enjoyed the coffee, it was good quality, same as the breakfast, the honey was delicious. It would be helpful to have some sort of hangers or a chair in the shared shower to place the personal belongings.

We had a great time in Locarno. We booked the rooms with the shared bathroom, and even though it's not the same as having your own bathroom, I have to say they were very clean and did not bother us to use them at all. The location is great, there is a bus stop right next to the hotel and you can go to the center and other towns easily. The service was excellent, Everyone was very nice and helpful. And the breakfast was delicious, we enjoyed it every morning :)

I only found the hairdryer late into our stay. It would have been more convenient to have a hand towel in the shared bathroom and soap in the bathroom in the lobby.

The staff were very kind and also very helpful before our stay. The whole team was very hospitable and did their best to help us to feel at home. They also gave us practical and very useful information for travelling around Ticino. The place was very clean and comfortable and the location is very good.

The only comment: I would like there to be slippers in the room. Since the room was not warm enough for the January weather and the floor was very cold.

The hotel is in a great location and with wonderful views of the mountains. We really liked the atmosphere in the room and in the hotel. Good service and delicious breakfast.

A few minus: no elevator to our room on the 3rd floor & slanted ceilings were we bumped our heads a few times.

The feel of the hotel, very nice & very looked after and clean. On both days the staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with loads of different breads, brioche, tarts, eggs, cereals, meat, cheese etc. Coffee was delicious too.

We stayed in one of the rooms in the top floor where you had to share a bathroom and shower, which wasn’t ideal for us is two women travelling alone.
