The family room was big with two floors. My kids loved that. The restaurant dinner tasted very well. Front desk lady was very nice. During the busy dinner time, she still stopped and answered me questions. The room service young guy was nice as well. He helped me doing laundry. Another front desk guy with glasses was rude. Didn’t help at all. Besides the room had no AC. Making it hot to sleep in August. And the guy told me the hotel had no fan to lend….

The common kitchen/dining room was small and bare.

Easy to find and get to. You get an entire bunk bed set to yourself. They have lockers but the key is at the front desk (no self locker situation). Plenty of toliets ans showers. Laundry is 5chf per wash and 5chf per dry. Detergent included. Only one setting for wash

The location of the hotel is really good! There is a bus in front of the hotel to the grindewald station. It was a very clean hotel with a good breakfast! I will recommend this hotel to everyone.

Bathroom was dated but ok. Breakfast was disappointing, not bad but not great either (no pastries or fresh juice, simple bread and no hot options except hard boiled eggs).

Friendly and comfortable place to stay with superb views of the mountains. Restaurant was also good and worth trying. Staff helped us park safely despite being busy.

My room had no window and unfortunately smelt of damp clothes / walking shoes.

Short walk from the town, good location. Household team gave useful information about the local street party on a Wednesday which was really appreciated, thank you.

There was a massive pile of cow poop outside our window that smelled very strong. The staff reacted angrily when we pressed 2 buttons on the coffee machine because it was in German. The staff said “ahh now it’s broken!” but fixed it pressing a few buttons. Also, while the food for dinner was tasteless and overpriced.

The view of the Eiger was great. The location was close to DT. The themed green and pink colors were charming. The room was comfy.

The lower bed is a bit cramped but you have both upper and lower beds so it should be enough.

The beds were a bit hard and the room got quite stuffy at night, we had the windows open but that let in insects.

We chose this hotel in Grindelwald because of the price, it is an expensive place to stay. It's a bit out of town, a long walk from the station. The staff had already sent us info on the free travel card so we took the bus. The room was clean, and the shared bathrooms were kept clean. Breakfast was plentiful, and the internet was great. It was like staying in an upmarket hostel.

There is no lift. We had our dinner at the restaurant, food was a little too salty to our likings.

The view from the room is great. The 6 bedded room is spacious on the upper level. There is a bus stop just right outside the hotel.

Too many flies and even mosquitoes would come inside the room if the window opened. Shared toilets are too close to each other (shower rooms too), and there is no ventilation installed.
