Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. United KingdomA fridge in the room would be helpful, but they did provide an ice bucket as an alternative.
Firstly, staff were very welcoming, cheerful and helpful. The room looked better in person than on the photos. Loved the AC and jacuzzii. The room was very clean, and plenty of toiletries were provided. Breakfast was great, very good food, and constantly refilled for guests. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Fabulous breakfast, handy location if travelling round Switzerland by train. Although the station is right by the hotel, the blinds and thick glazing meant that noise was not a problem

United KingdomThey changed the towels every day, even though we did not ask for this - every other day would have been plenty good and helped the environment. they did not supply tea at all in the rooms - just coffee. So we had to go down to the restaurant where we had breakfast and get a few English Breakfast tea bags for my husband who does not drink coffee.
Because of the heat (always between 30 and 35 Centigrade during our stay at the hotel), we were given a free upgrade to a superior room with air con. There was a Nespresso machine in the room with a few pods.

United KingdomThe room had no tea or coffee making facilities. The floor was hardwood not carpet, so could be noisy and it showed up dirt - not sure if room service did any floor sweeping or cleaning but it wasn't obvious. Lift was slow and when you had a lot of people wanting to use it, it caused a bottleneck in reception.
I booked it specifically because it's right next to the train station. The bedding was comfortable, the room was clean, the shower was good, electric blinds and a balcony you could sit out on. Daily room service was excellent and the reception staff were very helpful when I asked for an extra pillow or a fork (to eat my salad I bought elsewhere!).

United KingdomIt was all done online with a WhatsApp linn to open the door of the room! All very random, but meant there was no human interaction at all, so I gave the staff a good rating, but I never came into contact with any Also you have no control over the heating (it is cold March evenings). Seems to be done centrally so I kept window open until I went to bed in order to keep room cool.
Close to bahnhof but still quiet with the windows shut. Easy to find and access. Nice large room, if a little basic (no fridge, but nice sofa).

Was upgraded to a bigger room! Great shower, very comfy bed, and a very good choice of food for breakfast. Our upgraded room was made up for single occupancy, but we pointed this out and this was corrected immediately with a small bottle of wine as an apology. Great service!

Amaris Hotel is really a central hotel, right next to the train station (we do not hear the trains). Rooms are spacious and spotless clean. With a Table to be able to work. Hotel is "card-free" so you need a phone to access all parts of the hotel (use wifi).
