The room, with integrated open toilet and shower area is problematic. Water pressure is low, and the modern shower so designed that it splashes out over the floor unless you stand in a corner of the shower and don't move around! Breakfast is ONLY ONE HOUR FROM 07:30 to 08:30 !! Who thinks of such scheduling ?? If your flight from Zurich leaves at 14:00 what is the point ? Main issue is that when you put the light in the "bathroom area" on, a loud ventilator also goes on and stays that way for at least 15 minutes. So, forget getting back to sleep after using the toilet during the night or bring earplugs along ! I ended up using my iPhone's flashlight instead (as did many others in the hotel discussing same problem in the reception area.) Their restaurant menu is simple but tasty; I was only shocked by the prices, about EUR 78.00 for a soup and main course with 2 non alchoholic drinks.

The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. The room was tasteful and attactive to be in. However, there were some small issues (see below) and caveats about staying here. The sound proofing in the room is excellent.

Nothing really. One thing was a bit odd: the air circulation made a loud noise, clearly noticeable in the room. However, this only happened when you enter the room, and fell silent after half an hour or so. With an airco next to it it seems a bit odd solution for fresh air.

The hotel lies just a few km away from the highway to Bern, very easy to find, with sufficient parking space. Staff is very helpful and despite some initial issues with the key-card it was effectively solved. Not all staff speaks English, but no problems in communication. Room was not all too large, yet modern and clean (the 1-person room) with airco and blinds to darken the room. No sounds from inside nor outside. Restaurant served very good food and the bar has ample choice of beer and wine, and was also well visited by locals. Breakfast was extensive with fresh coffee.

Excellent hotel when traveling throughout Switzerland. Located close to the highway. The restaurant offers delicious food, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good in nice atmoshpere.

No fresh vegetables for breakfast, but this is unfortunately a standard in Switzerland outside big hotel chains.

Excellent value for money. A rare feeling, that the hotel really cares about you. Absolutely recommended. This is a wonderfully renovated village hotel, which now is perfect for business and leisure travelers alike. We used it on the Easter weekend for hiking in Jura. The location offers no views, but instead there is a couple of train stations nearby (one 2, another 7 minutes walking distance). Because of this, a great variety of hiking destinations in Jura are in easy reach. Excellent soundproofing, rooms were really quiet. The double room was very spacious, a single room smaller but sufficient. Nice modern and practical set up with a very good lighting. Rooms are air conditioned. Coffee machine with the capsules replenished. Excellent cleaning. Nice and spacious bathroom in the double room. Great supply of toiletries for the level of the hotel. Very good breakfast. Good middle-priced restaurant with a very friendly staff, with good to perfect English. As a special feature - despite the restaurant being very popular, hotel guests always get a guaranteed table. We have stayed in a lot of Swiss hotels outside big cities, but this is probably our best experience ever.
