Our stay was lovely, the hotel was great. Very clean, very comfy and quiet. Breakfast was good.

Only thing missing is a small fridge in the room. Although with the cool weather, you can make donwithout :)

Excellent location, five minute walk to the main street. Room was neat and tidy and almost brand new having been recently refurshished. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety.

Rooms were modernly equipped. Comfortable bed, although a bit narrow as it was a single room. I made good use of electrical heater because it was really cold for a few days. Great location, in the middle of the town, close to the train station and shops and also close to the Gornergrat, Sunnega and Matterhorn cable cars. Staff allowed me to store luggage before checking in and I would have been able to store it after checking out, but I left early. Staff was polite, to the point and professional.

It was very cold a first few days, but electrical heater really did help. Also, tiled floor in the bathroom was ridiculously cold during all the say, slippers should be a must. Obviously, view from the ground floor room was a downside, but I knew that in advance. I did not stay long in my room during the day as that was not the point of my trip, so that was not a problem for me, but have in mind, if you would be staying a lot in the room, this could be problematic. And sound insulation - basically non existent, sound was coming in through ventilation vents and through walls, I could even hear notification sounds of people getting messages in phones in other rooms, sounds of water running in other rooms, talking as if it was in my own bathroom. You get the point. Although other guests were very considerate, nothing wrong could be said about them, it's just that sound insulation is very poor. Also, there was a kettle to make some hot drinks, but no tea and coffee at all. One small cup and nothing else, not even a spoon. Minor last detail - in the room description a bottle of water was indicated, but there was no bottle of water when I arrived in the room. Looked like a misrepresentation.

The room was perfect, only the fact that it was underground was a little bit surprising.

Lovely room and location and great breakfast. Superb facilities.

The check in was - call from reception and come back at 3 pm. The whole time we were there the reception person was on the computer, no welcome no comment no hospitality. Poor recption service - in fact it was more like do it yourself was the motto.

Perfect location in the heart of Zermatt, but quiet at the same time and we could hear the river from our room. Very easy to check in after hours; accommodating staff, charming room. Excellent breakfast

The gentlemen that checked us in was friendly, hotel is in a great location (we were near where people gather on the bridge to view the Matterhorn), an abundance of outlets, and newly remodeled rooms.

Had lower expectations for being in a basement/garden level, but didn’t need to- had what we needed. Breakfast was nice, but we only gave ourselves a few minutes for it.

Location is amazing! Breakfast is very diverse so everyone has something to eat. Eggs, yogurt, muesli, cereals, cheese platter, ham platter, bread - 5-7 types, veggies and fruits, nuts, tea, hot chocolate, juices and coffee. Beds are very comfortable and the room was very clean.

The Annex Antica is a separate building that is not connected to the main building. Also, the building has a basement and a main floor and it’s very close to a big street…

very good hotel for single travelled, in popular area of the city, can take Matterhorn picture from hottest spot - a bridge, Annex hotel is not the main part of the hotel, so there is no window view, but can have same service. notice that if your room is in semi basement, you need to take your luggage.
