Very nice located. Quick check-in. Coordination of luggage worked well. We got a very good price and based on this our overall experience was ok.

Infrastructure is very old and the look and feel in the hotel is very special...

Very nice welcome from all which is quite unique and brings a family touch to the place. Also from the owner which was very special and which I appreciated. The garden is beautiful, very well maintained and most relaxing. I also enjoyed the quality of the linen and the cupboard space. The upgrade was a nice surprise. Looking forward to go back once.

Hotel was lovely, staff were helpful, rooms were large and balconies were large. A male staff member at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful in locating our missing luggage at the airport and organized to have it delivered to the hotel. Very grateful to him for all he did for us.

Parking was busy and difficult, but we did manage to create a spot. One staff member at breakfast was unfriendly on a daily basis and always looked annoyed with all guests requests.

Spacious, clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Great pool area. Handy shuttle service to Locarno station.

We ordered a specific room with airconditioning and came to the hotel to find out that we got a room that was much smaller than what we ordered and had no a.c. The staff at the reception were very nice at the begining on check in before we got the room but when there was a problem there were not. They did not offer any alternatives. We insisted on talking to the manager that was very nice and understood that it wasn't ok and offered us to go to a close by hotel that was with a.c and he will pay the difference. It was the end if the day and we were tired so we accepted the offer . The other hotel was not our choice in terms of design and chic. We found ourselfs sleeping in a hotel we did not choose and waisting alot of time. All the situation was very unplesant. You should be getting what you paid for . If a hotel has rooms with no a.c. it shouldn't advertise itself as a hotel that is fully airconditioned.

Great location with beautiful view of the town and lake though note it is an uphill walk from town. Reception and driver were great and very friendly & helpful.

For a 4 star hotel it's just a bit lacking. Rooms lack a bit of attention to detail (eg no cup, outlet near bed, things like kettle etc).

Everything was perfect: the room with a wonderful view, the delicious breakfast and the amazing swimming pool!

Great hotel, nice location out of the hustle & bustle. Quiet & comfy room with good facilities. Check in staff very welcoming and helpful. Secure parking easy and plenty of space.

Waiting staff completely different to check in staff, very rude with everything a problem, made to feel very unwelcome, certainly wouldn’t advise using their restaurant, so much so we got up and left before even ordering any food and went into town.

Location to Ascona, great reception staff and helpful, free bus to town.

Resturant menu was limited and staff unfriendly.
